  1. No way that's a BOLer. Any BOLer would know that blue-boy isn't worth more than $300. and why is he linking to that defunct URL for the Madd website?
  2. why 15.5? I guess 15 would be too narrow, eh? ;)
  3. For the sliding part, I think you'll need to make the stationary center square either out of metal or slightly thicker than the part that slides. As you have it now I think the part that slides will get clamped down when you tighten the board screws and the center square compresses.....?
  4. omg! we are going to have to get Crispin Glover to play you in the BOL movie!
  5. my ACL hurts when I watch that video of that skier "carving".
  6. The Loaf is ready when you are!!
  7. yeah skategoat? and did you walk to school every day? uphill? both ways? ;)
  8. Nah. My kids are 7 and 4, and they both love to ride the sidecut, and they both know how to skid and pivot where appropriate. It's a big thrill to see them lean on their sidecut and really carve their little skis like hockey skates, I love it.
  9. skier guy, after complimenting my riding and saying how well the board works: "does that have metal edges?" what?!
  10. We're talking about carving right? Absolutely, carving softboots is step 1 towards hb carving. Get some moldable liners and custom footbeds and your softies will probably be relegated to powder/bump/trees days.
  11. JESUS H. TAP-DANCING CHRIST! I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!! welcome home brother!
  12. Using a long board like a 185 GS on a black slope, you do have to wait a little bit longer for the speed to build. Unless you're one of those speed demons who just goes as fast as possible without finishing round turns. However you can have tons of fun on a GS board on blues and greens. On a good blue you can use them as normal, and they really shine. I had a great time at Stratton on mine. On a green you can do fast slalom sized cross-unders or just surf around. No quiver is complete without a GS board.
  13. 0 Taper? Is that what the top FIS guys are running? I can't fathom that, but I don't know.
  14. Hehe... sorry, Cypress isn't stupid, the decision to hold a winter olympics there was. And it sounds like Sochi will be too.
  15. That is awesome. Except for the earmuffs of course. ;)

no, I thought that was hilarious, hence "lol" - laughing out loud. It did come out longer than I expected. Glad you liked it. Now buy my board! ;)

    Kessler Skis

Just took delivery of the 155s for my wife. Indeed, they have the Kessler logo right on them - cool!! The skis look great. Deep cut, metal top and botom, decambered noses, and they definitely look handmade. If she doesn't like them I will take them! Thanks for the tip BobD!
