Billy, If you can get time with Dr. Beckmann, take it. He's tough to schedule time with but we are working on it. I think there's an app for that. He's still getting used to a phone without a rotary dial. Weekends here at the Loaf have been crazy. Midweek mornings are ideal.

Does this board have a "K" on the tail? I ride a stock version of the 162 at 170 lbs and it seems ok to me. Is 20 pounds that much?

Listen, If I am going to take a clinic in Montana this is what I want to learn... 1. How to bed cougars and get paid to do it. 2. How to start a donation campaign for an event that never materializes and then not return the money. 3. How to claim you invented a binding adjustment and slap your name on it. 4. How to explain to your cougar you wrecked her Tesla. 5. How to write really long posts explaining how awesome I am. What else am I missing?

Consider switching that plan. Sunday is an early access day. You will have better grooming Saturday morning, possibly.

If you could see, Hayburner and Kings were good today. You had to dodge some stubby ski gates on Kings. Due to Covid they aren't allowing Ruroc helmets, David. I've been looking for the elusive red jacket with the distinctive use pattern but haven't been lucky enough to spot it yet. It does seem more crowded than normal but it could just be the lack of terrain/lifts open combined with social distancing in the lift line. The parking lot seems more full than usual on a weekday.

I rode last year's version and burned through a pair in a month here at Sugarloaf riding most days. The thumb flap shape needs improvement. It's a weak link. Also using a fabric that increases friction isn't a great idea either. The fabric should be durable but smooth. There's hope here but it needs work.

You can not beat Maine for price and ease of use of the mountain. Go out west, spend a fortune, be a half hour away from the mountain. Go to Maine, spend less, be able to ride a few runs before work... I can get a meeting warning notification at the top of Sugarloaf and be at my desk to make that meeting taking a shuttle home. I paid way under $100k for my (small) place. Sure, the conditions are better out west but the crowds and prices are insane. I will take lesser conditions and lesser crowds every day of the week. I lived out west for a year so it's not like I haven't been out there.
