do they offer mtn biking in the summer? buy a lift ticket and cruise the runs on a bike, might be quicker.

i think bordy was saying to look at a hobbie shop for the thermometer. i use an infrared thermometer to check the temp of my iron and board.

i used to have one with holes, the wax would get in the holes and burn and make a lot of smoke. than the burned wax would drip on your board.

it is hard to realize on a forum like this but you have to ride with the guy to realize he isnt being arrogant, he is just telling it like he sees it. the guy carves better switch than i can normally. he sees guys like me on my prior which i cant bend to save my life. if you get the chance ride with him or take a lesson with him. you will be glad you did.

i am no expert by any stretch. search on this forum for ski boots. one thing i did notice when i tried to set up my cateks with my old ski boots was that since they are longer for the same size foot than a snowboard boot. you will have steeper binding angles which may be hard to learn on. i have never tried ski boots on my set up.

where do you ride? alpine trader on rt 100 by mt snow has boots and the starting gate on rt 30 by stratton has a wider selection. good luck.

Thinking of heading up to stratton mtn saturday, about how long does it take to drive from mt snow to stratton? Anybody know what time the Starting Gate opens? I need to drop a board off for a stone grind Sat. morning. I emailed them, I hope they respond. thanks

Hello, The ankle strap on both my boots bottoms out. I have it racheted all the way down and I think I can go tighter but the buckle wont let me. Is there any way I can modify the buckle or strap to change this. I bought them at the Starting Gate. Thanks.

I just got a new prior board and catek bindings for Xmas. Any good stores to buy boots from arround Mt. Snow Vt.? Also, does Mt. Snow have any qualified instructors? Thanks
