  1. yours is all broken!! it's going the wrong way! ;) i have a white goofy 186 from a few years ago. blows my mind the 1 day per season i ride it. when there are no rocks anywhere, the sun is splitting the sky and my legs are rock solid.
  2. it's not so much the delivery cost, but the import costs on top of it. :/
  3. i'd have this if it weren't for transatlantic shipping.
  4. see those little packs of silica gel that come in everything? send them to bruce and sean. :D
  5. i'm imagining a sheet of 0.4mm with a honeycomb of holes cut into it, the diameters of which growing smaller towards the edge of the board. does waste titanal have a recycle value?
  6. is this a new thing? earlier rev editions were 10-14-12 up to 12-20-16
  7. if youi dont like the cateks i'll take them off your hands for the price of a nevis or glencoe ticket. give you some hardbooting tips too.
  8. brian if you rode right-foot-forward i'd almost consider selling you my asym virus. almost. ;)

rad-air or do they still. wasnt there something about them quitting tanker production?
  10. welcome to the world of fridges. if you go after the mobs have been, it's usualy very granular ice crystals .. texture more like sand.
  11. find someone to sell you a glass donek from 4-5 years ago. that should be exciting enough for you...
  12. could you post a side-on pic, and also one or two with a measuring rule across the base? i'm wondering if you've split the core, or if you've seperated the sidewall material from the core.
  13. it's something i've only ever managed on one particular (fixed-grip) chairlift, but the off-ramp is such that i can stand, skate, click in the rear (yes, stepins FTW) and glide off on a parabolic arc of smugness. at any other unload station it's not going to happen. learn to skate with only your front foot in, and from there learn to glide on the flat with your rear foot between the bindings.
  14. in the interests of science, would you please share your technique for coming back to life?
  15. something with a flow-style entry and optional 3rd buckle would be especially wonderful.
  16. stiff front and squishy rear. i wonder if the lower cuff joints are fixed or not.
  17. i have this same setup, though i run at 65/70 with widest possible stance and max toe/heel lift on f2 intecs. using the cuff canting thingies, i have them set to give maximum cuff height (same on both sides). my front boot cuff is as upright/back as possible, and the rear boot cuff is 'just so'. when carpet carving i aim to have just a little more pressure on my front shin than on the rear when upright.
  18. i'm fortunately above sea level and not on a flood plain, so we're ok. lots of primary access routes getting washed away to the south though, which is not good.
  19. what to do? moan loudly and regularly and remind everyone who doesn't like the snow that if the precipitation that is currently falling as rain were snow instead, there wouldn't be flood alerts for the whole country. or flooding. :/
  20. the one in wales was a lot of fun until it broke. ;)
  21. you old guys make me feel so YOUNG!
  22. oh absolutely but instead of dinging the edge from 90deg as is appropriate for ducky, one would have to do it in-line with your chosen stance angles for alpine. this will really help me when it comes to terrorizing people standing in uplift queues!
  23. a witch! we've found a wiiiiitch!
