Hoping to get into a 185, need to sell this before I can make the jump. 21 Waist, 13m sidecut Built in March 2010, used approx. 20 days (4-5 hrs./day) 3* Edge and 1* base Has base structure Always waxed with LF/HF Plenty of edge life To my door was $1100, asking $725obo, will split shipping to a degree, email me if interested. Some liftline nicks around nose and tail, nothing catastrophic. Was able to clean 99% of marks off. Two lines at inserts are to make Boiler plate mounting easier, just pencil. Mark on base is from a scraper, would go away with a grind. Yes that is a quarter to show camber. Has another 1/4" above it.
  4. I have to greatly disagree with the width and grooming points. Saddleback is truly a best-kept secret, and is further enough up to keep the majority of yuppies away. I've never found less than perfect snow/ groom. The only downer is the lift system (no high speeds). Rangeley is an amazing place too, lots of places to stay and beautiful scenery. Top choice for the Maine Mtn. Series alpine races.
  5. Pat, how'd things go today out there? Saw a high of around 55, wondering how the snow held up.

99% chance he was testing wax. He did the same thing at the Sunday River WC.
  7. Maple leaf pattern and blue wavy pattern? Pretty sure we've seen you around a couple times. We're usually in line at 830 (Comp program starts then).
  8. Race at Saddleback Saturday, will be out Sunday for sure. 177 Prior or Kess slalom.
  9. What year are yours? I run the 09/10 version and (while I don't run angles anywhere near 40) I can get them to go up to it, and beyond.

    SBX Setup

The past two tears I have run CO2's with the Driver X size 12. Last year was on a Salomon Burner 166 (riding a wet noodle) and this year I am on a custom metal BX board (insanely stiff). I run 18-21 front and 15 rear. I get enough just flex to allow me to backup for pull-outs, and plenty of power for actually riding a course. Edit: Stance is around 23 inches. (I have long legs)

    SBX Setup

Agreed, although in some situations it isn't. On lower angles it is very responsive, once you start getting up to 25+ it gives way pretty easily. I'm guessing this is different with each person, as not everyone has larger legs to mush them. To each his own, can only say from personal experience.

A general step in the right direction (IMO) includes Burton CO2s and Burton Drivers/ Salomon Malamutes. Almost all WC riders are currently running some sort of CO2, with the Driver being a popular boot choice. The majority of our USASA/USSA riders are running that exact setup and did so last year as well.
  13. Just wondering why you are so concerned? Forcast for DIA and Aspen is all clear for Friday and you have 3 hours to get from gate to gate.
  14. Luca, Yahoo mail is on the fritz today and won't let me send emails. They are the 18cm wide version. Sent you a Paypal request, please mark it as "Gift" to avoid all the fees. Thanks:biggthump
  15. I can provide the spacers, don't have a need for mine anymore. 45 shipped? One does not have the sticker on it. Seen about 20 days total.

Auto, stick? If it's auto, sounds like it's sticking in 3rd/4th. That would explain the constant high rev, until you back off. If it's stick, no friggin' idea.
  18. From here that looks like a tapered drive? Meaning a regular drill couldn't grab it and hold it straight. Just looking to clarify for others.
  19. Met a stubby while running GS today, in a part of the course that really starts to run. Yes, it hurt. A lot. Won the race w/ fastest time of the day, still don't know if it was worth it though.

    PGS on VS.

Karl got caught in the same place. He saved it but wasn't able to turn tight enough to avoid the netting.
  21. If you are dead set on ski boots, I can say most racers (using them) are running Kryptons. Food for thought.
  22. Read the first paragraph, didn't bother with the rest. Suck it up Terje, the IOC won't spin on it's heel because you think this or that is wrong. Sidenote, a triple by Wescott would be a hell of a lot better than tomato face getting 2x in halfpipe.
