My thighs hurt, but it went OK. Toesides I immediately got to track. Slid out a few heel sides and wasn't nearly as confident as my soft boot set up. The guy I was with said it looked like I was folding the poor little board in half, but I'll take that as a sign I was doing it right.
The bad part is my new to me boots where absolute torture after a half dozen runs. they felt ok in the house yesterday, but out on the hill they are just way too narrow. it felt like there was a vise squeezing the arch and the side of my foot. Front to back they were fine. by the end of the night i had all my bails as loose as they could go, but my feet still hurt. I am going to have to rectify before I go to a resort for a whole day.
I'm going to try thinner socks first. I don't think the red wrap style liners are moldable.
