    WTB 26.5 liners

That would be awesome blue, please check back when you get back.
  2. I need some 26.5 liners to go in my boots, I've got some non mold-able size 26 I can trade if needed. I am an occasional midwest rider and I would like to keep cost down as much as reasonable. please email me hcw350 AT yahoo Harrison
  3. I would say there is a fair amount of room when I put the boot on without the liner so good advice. Since these aren't moldable, any sense in trying to have the sides punched out like I have done to my ice skates?
  4. out of Raichle 224. I don't believe they are according to my searching, but better safe than sorry. Any recommendations of a brand of liner that would be a little wider through the mid foot?

    Quiver of Coilers

way too much board for any hill I get to ride, but I love the flames topsheet on the 184, good luck with the sale.
  6. No worries excuse my sarcasm. for clarity: Softboots- Arbor Element 166/borrowed highbacks/burton drivers Hardboot - Arbor a55/oxygen branded snowpro's/raichle 224
  7. Who rides a oxygen 166? I was riding an arbor 155 which I now know is too small and i'm on the heavy side. But I think the folding bit is over exadgeration for the fact that the board was flexing a lot. The boot thing is somewhat me getting used to it, but it's a whole bunch of not fitting too. I have to have my hockey skates modified for the same pressure points. They have to create side "pockets" with a press. I'd do the same but I don't think the boot liners wwould remember. I think i'll need to get some thermo liners. I just hope the shells aren't too narrow.
  8. Jealous, I have this pesky job that insists I be here every week all week ;)
  9. I have oxygen race plates which are snowpro and there does not appear to be a spring. Last night I ended up doing the rear binding first. The front was pretty easy.
  10. No kidding on the rest time thing. But hey, makes it a "fitness" activity. My back leg feels fine. My temptation at this point is to narrow my stance and maybe add a little more toe lift on my front foot. Anyone got any tricks for getting the rear bail around your back heel? ar is that why people spend millions on step ins?
  11. My thighs hurt, but it went OK. Toesides I immediately got to track. Slid out a few heel sides and wasn't nearly as confident as my soft boot set up. The guy I was with said it looked like I was folding the poor little board in half, but I'll take that as a sign I was doing it right. The bad part is my new to me boots where absolute torture after a half dozen runs. they felt ok in the house yesterday, but out on the hill they are just way too narrow. it felt like there was a vise squeezing the arch and the side of my foot. Front to back they were fine. by the end of the night i had all my bails as loose as they could go, but my feet still hurt. I am going to have to rectify before I go to a resort for a whole day. I'm going to try thinner socks first. I don't think the red wrap style liners are moldable.
  12. Only place I ever rode a t was mount ripley in Hancock, Michigan. I remember a season pass cost $60 and that was only 20 years ago. Never had an issue with it.
  13. t-bar? they had a t-bar? that would be an improvement over what they have now...but hey, it's $12 and the snow is good. I should be there 5-9 give or take 30 minutes. Don't know if I'll ready for the big hill sunday, we'll see how tonight goes.
  14. I will PM but, tuesday night is adults only. The rail jam crowd is greatly diminished. Last week there was 10 people on the whole hill. Even in softboots I use the whole slope. ;) Look forward to meeting up Ken! I'm already the strange guy that rides a huge board (166), hardbooting is just the next evolution. harrison
  15. I have to say while carpet boarding last night the whole thing was a lot less rigid than I was expecting. the boots while heavy, were pretty comfortable. the bindings while I wouldn't cal them sloppy in any way, seemed to flex a lot, does that make sense? I'm starting out ~58 front ~56 rear, 3 degree front cant, 6 degree rear. 19.5 width. Feels reasonably comfortable except the front of my thigh on my lead foot is going to be sore, I understand why want people want toe lift. harrison
  16. I've got boots from rammy (raichle 224), bindings from oldsnowboards.com (oxygen race), and I'm ready to give it all a try tomorrow at the the local hill, Mullian's Hollow (Grand Haven MI). I wish I had one of you to show me the ropes, but I think I'll have to convert a couple people around here. Once I'm sure can make it down a run I'll have to show my face at Bittersweet, Cannonsburg, or Crystal. Wish me luck! Harrison
  17. Thank you. I never thought to measure, I just figured I'd use the same length as what usually came with the bindings. thanks!
  18. 54 views and no opinions? I did some extended searching and I found a handy procedure for determining bottom length, but I was hoping someone could save me a little time and tell me the right length. I plan on using locktite blue and split washers, but I would love to see a pick of what is supposed to be used. Thanks in advance. Harrison
  19. So i am getting set up to try my new to me carving board this weekend and I realize that I don't have any mounting bolts for my bindings (oxygen branded snopro). It looks like they need to be a little longer than regular bolts as the 4x4 discs sit on top of the plates. Can anyone confirm or deny? Any idea what the proper length and size are? I've got a fastenal on my way home from work.
  20. Thanks for the weight speech, you are the first one...although the "no offense" disclaimer certainly makes it sting less. I've lost 25 pounds and I've got a ways to go, but thanks for rubbing salt in the wound. I'm certainly aware on my own weight and how it affects the activities I do whether it be snowboarding or ice hockey. Snowboarding is one of the things I do to keep myself active and help me reduce my weight. with no offense, sir, take a flying leap.
  21. I use a winch like that to take the hard top off my jeep for the summer. for affordable sound attenuation, GP makes a generic homosote substitute for less than $15/sheet. When mounted to RC with edges caulked and covered with 3/4" drywall it reduced transmission by 70% at 120db in my old studio.
  22. I'm not saying that I want to do it, but what were you thinking in terms of a trade? I don't know that I can afford to collect snowboards, guitars, and motorcycles. I just don't want to ruin this arbor. I'm a little heartbroken about it. harrison
