  1. The two boards I shipped to the US this week were both $40 via CanadaPost.
  2. No more riding for the season, too much slush and my motorcycle is calling me. Open to offers boys and girls
  3. Pounding snow here in Kamloops today, see you in the morning
  4. This will keep me busy for hours...
  5. HAHAHA, are you implying that I will need a plate in the future? I don't think that the VSR AMT won't need one. Maybe a standard VSR though.
  6. I am up for a BC Expression Session, in fact, there was Alpine training here this winter already. Sun Peaks is never crowded, bluebird most days, and the snow is soft and fluffy. It was great to meet you and drool on your Coiler for a bit. I can't wait to get mine. I am sure Mike will get the video over to us later tonight once he gets back to his place. We stayed together until 1:00pm and his skier friend shot a bit of footage of him too. I spent the bulk of the day running the same run, trying to gain a bit more consistency and work on my form. I ran it from 11:00 to 4:00, man are my legs tired. Got lots of thumbs up and yells from the chair as I got lower down to the snow as the afternoon went on. I can't wait to see what a metal board will do...
  7. We are all whores Dave...all of us:lol:
  8. And I have a Prior 4WD 179 to round out the responses :)
  9. Sounds just like a Coiler All-Mountain Titanal VSR (AMT)
  10. You could try to see what Coiler can build you. Not many up charges there.
  11. You would think so, but not even a nibble. BTW, I have a 4WD for sale and I want to buy a Coiler
  12. uh-hmm I have a lovely Prior 4WD 179 for sale that is 21.5cm wide at the waist and has a 10.5m scr. It flat out rails on softer snow and nice groom. Ice, not so much. I will be replacing it with a short Coiler AMT, but with a larger 12m scr. I too started out like you and threw plates onto my Ride Antic 160 (9/8/9). I was great for slower carves and soft snow, but once I pushed it more and got it further on edge, it would chatter and I would slide out. Definitely not built for plates and hard carving. The 4WD has been great and I have ridden a few other boards with plates. I got to demo a 4WD 169 and FLC 173 and I really liked the metal board. I also have a Prior 168w for softboot riding and it is stiff enough for me. I recently rode a new Ride Highlife 163w with softboots and it was too floppy for me. Stiffer is better in my world.
  13. I liked it...now if someone would by my Prior I could order the Coiler.
  14. I was definitely lower, but in the knees not the waist. My abs have been hurting for 3 days so I know I was doing something right. I agree with the slower feeling. I was still railing as I could tell from my wipeouts, but everything felt smoother. Can't wait for Sunday to do it all again.
  15. I bought this from BlueB (Boris) about a month ago for $150 cash. I have ridden it for a day and have decided to pass it on in order to help pay for a Coiler AMT. It was great with hardboots and softboots, but steeper angles were needed with the softies. It is in great shape, like all of Boris' gear with hardly a mark on the base. There are only a few small lift line marks on the tail, but Boris took care of them. SOLD!
  16. Xeena X11 159, 20cm waist with a 14m scr:eek: I bought it last year for $90 and I rode it few times. Funds to go towards a new Coiler AMT. SOLD!
  17. That sucks. I have a really nice Prior to hold you to the end of the season ;)
  18. Today was an epic day at Sun Peaks. Great snow, no crowds, and my carving finally clicked. The snow was falling and it was soft, not the ice we have had the past month. Centered my bindings on the inserts, concentrated on finishing my turns, and almost have my TD3 SI dialed in. I also worked on riding slower and smoother, using lateral pressure to initiate turns and worked to get the board on edge quicker. I ran the same blue race practice run all day long and things just clicked today. I had a few washouts and lots of stopping, but overall I think I am finally getting the hang of this carving thing. I didn't crouch today and rode with straighter legs, letting my entire body initiate carves, not my lower half. Now to sell the 4WD 179 as it is a bit too long and get Bruce working on that AMT
  19. Pix after today's ride. The flash didn't work out so well, base is flat and smooth. Bindings not included. I am not sure what lift line this one appeared in, but it is just the topsheet. The edge is straight and true.
  20. Try http://www.yyzcanuck.com/ They had a bunch of premolded, but not ridden, demo liners for sale this week.
  21. I have TD3 Step-ins with yellow (softest) e-rings. I am 215lbs and I can flex them quite easily and they feel very comfortable to me. They actually feel just as flexy as the Snowpro SI that I had before.
