  1. I had the fold-out poster when I was a teenager. I'd love to get a nice clean poster for framing! Such an iconic photo!
  2. I have them in my primary softboot set up(ride insanos). I have Intuition wrap liners in my other boots as well(power wraps & 2 sets of plugs). for me, they only add about 1.5" of extra height over my other intuition liners, so height isnt an issue. with that said, I do like them & recommend them. They have good support. They are not super stiff like the power wraps, but work real well with stiff outers like the Insano & Thraxis.
  3. The Deeluxe Edge Pros arrived today. I will try them tomorrow. Initial impressions are that the outer shell is very stiff (probably the stiffest I have ever seen). My current soft boot setup is a pair of Insanos with Intuition SBC wrap liners. That is my most comfortable softy set up but stiff quote stiff. I also have a pair of K2 Thraxis with Intuition Power Wrap liners & those are the stiffest soft boot set up I have used. They take a little while to get used to. Without riding them yet, what I like about the Edge Pros is super stiff shell/tongue, power strap, ankle harness for liner, lacing system is new to me, but seems good & the boa for the ankle hold. I do not like the liner! It is quite soft & has a huge, padded tongue. The tongue is so bulky that it prevents the outer/shell tongue from being pressed in tight against my shins. I will try them out in the stock configuration, but will most likely get a pair of intuition liners for them.
  4. Looking to try a set of Donek BX plates. Thanks
  5. On my first day of the season, second run I lost my edge & went to my ass. Not a bad spill at all, but I happened to also catch my thumb on the fall & completely severed my UCL (Skier's Thumb). Surgery set for Tuesday 12/27. Doctor says I'll be in a brace for 5-6 weeks & a couple months of PT. Its amazing how much you cant do without your thumb!
  6. Jeremiah is great. While you are there, check out his old Ride Kildy alpine board next to the stairs to the loft. Old School!
  7. wow. Bruce was able to do 28 wide? Titanal? If so, I need one of these in my life.
  8. Pro Tune in Jackson, NH. The owner (Jeremiah) is also the in house team tech for my kids race team. Andes Ski Shop in Bartlett, NH. They have a couple of Wintersteiger base grinders that can put different structures in.
  9. I agree. I have very wide feet & I had my 425s blown out for me.
  10. I have the same problem. I have pretty steep angles on my 22 wide Coiler. I had Donek make me a 24.5 wide Free Carve & it is a blast! Photo to illustrate the angles. Angles are still too steep to try with soft boots & I run a "stiff" softbook set up.
  11. Found. No longer needed. Thanks Pierre. The title says it. Looking for a pair of TD3 sidewinder Step ins. Bonus if they have large plates! Thanks
  12. What Intuition liners are you using? My soft boot set up are K2 Thraxis & a pair of Intution SBC wraps. I also have a pair of Ride Insanos with Intution Power Wraps. The Power wraps are stiffer than the SBC wraps, but I am liking the SBC/Thraxis set up.
  13. Yes, I bought a set of Carves from Apex the beginning of last season right before they folded. I also picked up a set of Cross & Frees here in the classifieds over the past few years. I was hoping to grab another pre-owned set at a "reasonable price". I ended up getting the last new set from Ivan this morning Thanks for the tip!
  14. Hi. I'm looking for a pair of either Cross or Free Gecko Plates. Thanks, Mike Found.
  15. I lost a couple of bumbers a couple of years ago. I was able to use some 1.5" rubber feet that I had from an old guitar amplifier. I had to cut them to the right thickness & add some tee nuts, but it was easy. They were similar to these https://www.amazon.com/Reliable-Hardware-Company-RH-1606-8-Amplifier/dp/B00JJ191Z6/ref=pd_day0_60_1/138-1503930-0089822?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00JJ191Z6&pd_rd_r=bf2bb538-01d0-4b4f-99cf-2e76796c099a&pd_rd_w=9vhvJ&pd_rd_wg=KxZM3&pf_rd_p=d495c3b6-b08c-488d-b587-92006fef8456&pf_rd_r=CAEPSNHF6HYJJKTQG8TW&psc=1&refRID=CAEPSNHF6HYJJKTQG8TW I am not sure if the ones in the link will work, but if you search around, I am sure you will find something that will.
  16. Hi Lowrider. I'm just following the guidelines. Social distancing & washing hands. I feel bad that we're not getting take-out from our local restaurants, but we're just not going to risk it. I did buy a couple of gift cards from some of them online to help support them. We are just trying to lay low & keep away from people. It sucks... Stay well!
  17. I went to the grocery store here in NoCo NH. I was shocked with how many out of state cars were in the parking lot & on the roads. MA, CT, RI, NY. Actually lots of NY & RI. More than I ever normally see. My friend in VT says she has also seen more New Yorkers than she has ever seen.
  18. I've been running K2 Maysis wides & Ride Insanos. I have never had the boa loosen up on me. I crank them down very tight though. I also ordered the K2 Thraxis that should be delivered today. I will try them this weekend, but its come on good authority that they work really well. If you are looking to really stiffen up the boot, I suggest aftermarket wrap liners. I have Intuition Power Wraps in my soft boots & Plug Wraps in my hard boots. With that being said & looking back at your question, I do loosen up my boots after every run when I get on the lift & then crank them down tight again at the top. They do not get loose on me though. they stay tight as a drum until I release the boa.
