  1. You need to start a "1xscullers daily thoughts and musings" thread
  2. No you're totally right. Hadn't seen the video in a while. I'll get my tricky little brother and inkaholic to help me out
  3. Alright I've got a new goal then. This is going to hurt a little bit lol.
  4. Neil, look up Casper Carver on YouTube. He rips. I'm hoping to get there some day. Gabe, yeah that's the part I'm still trying to wrinkle out. Hence the wacky flailing arms at the end lol
  5. For me I say yes. I don't like my riding to stagnate so for me getting better means pushing it harder which means wrecking more and putting more physical strain on my body. If I went out and did easy candy ribbon turns all day it wouldn't hurt so bad, but I'm on the hill to push it baby. I usually leave the hill after 2 hours on a typical day so I still have energy to be productive.
  6. We absolutely ruined some perfectly good snow today. Mario and Odd Job digging deep. Get better Pete! Looking forward to next season.
  7. Today at Loveland. Riders Big Mario and Odd Job WOOOOOOOSHHHHH WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
  8. I'm not here to be helpful, but that is a very aggressive board for a beginner. Like learning to dirtbike on a CR500. If I were to try anything different it would definitely be a wider softer board.
  9. Good review BWD. I've been eyeing one for a while so as soon as the funds come up imma have to get one.
  10. I combed through those vids and got some good stuff. I want more though before stitching something together. See y'all Sunday!
  11. Little clip from the other day. Ink, still trying to work on carrying speed through turns. I tried some switch toes and ate it but imma keep trying.
  12. Got this screen grab from the setup for a jump the other day. My mom thinks it's cool so I thought I would share. Video of LCI crew to come when I get more footage.
  13. Mon Tue Wed at keystone?
  14. It's tough today. Spring breakers are making life difficult. Lot was full by 10 on a Tuesday and nobody knows what they are doing. On a the other side of the coin, the snow is f-ing amazing. Chalk with a lovely layer on top. I just wish I could utilize it. Think happy turns. Think happy turns. Think happy turns.
  15. I liked everything about the T700 better than the UPZ except how they fit my foot. I just couldn't get them to fit right. Sold them to a member here that was using HSP for years and he really likes them. The UPZ are nice and adjustable but it took quite some time to adjust to the flex and what not.
  16. Thanks! You ride summit don't you? I'm in Silverthorne. Let's make some turns!
  17. Sure thing. 163 long 20 wide 10.5m sidecut. I bought it from a member here that had it custom made but it feels like it was made for me. I ride it everywhere except trees because it's hard to keep enough speed to decamber it. It's my go-to.
  18. I can. Not sure where. If rachel wants to ski we have to go to Loveland. If not I was thinking A Basin
  19. Been slow but picking up. A basin, Loveland and copper have really good coverage. Haven't been to Keystone in a few weeks or Vail at all this season. Carving is really good all around but trees and the really steep stuff are mostly ride at your own risk.
  20. Experimenting with gif format for little clips since it is easy. Sorry if it looks like crap. Found a fun little rock to jump off of on a soft day! Had to roll down the windows just a tad. *it seems to take a time or two to reach the full(very low) frame rate
  21. All else aside I'm always open for some critique. No worries Lance!
  22. Sorry, I'm sleep deprived and of grumpy. I'll try to be more helpful. I would have a single SCR board for sure. They are consistent and tons of fun. Maybe look at a wide proteus. It is very energetic though. Sean will make it in whatever SCR, width, and length you want. I really learned to get lower and ride smoother on my 12/14 SCR 175 Stubby (which I consider my loooooong board). As Corey mentioned in another thread the longer SCR gives you more time to settle into the turn and figure out how the board reacts to input. Keep pushing with more aggression each day and your turns will start to come around sharper and harder. Little turny boards are a blast but they don't give you much time to sort yourself out before it's time to turn again. That being said, I much prefer short turny boards. All about the turns per run baby.
  23. What do you want that is different from the ones you have? You have most of your bases covered and you listed a few that are very similar to boards you already own. A race board might not be your best bet for slopes that are above your ability. Boards don't get any easier to ride than Coilers. Maybe get something with a single SCR. I think they are more fun than variable SCR boards. Side note: most of your posts seem to be about frustration with your progression. Constantly changing boards might not be the answer. Master them one at a time.
  24. I really love the bail f2 race titaniums. People give them crap for being plastic but they are tough. The intec version does not share even remotely the same lovely flex. More parts support for f2 as well in the current market. Kind of a pain to get dialed in but once you do it's set and forget.
