@JRAZZ assume your Contra build was specifically for hb - how would you classify flex? I ask because my BXFR is about a 9/10 in softies or 6/10 in hb, wondering if the Contras are similar.

I hope the FIS note the more open course always seem to generate close & exciting races. Correlates with motor sport circuits too.

Nice @bigwavedave
Love to see a back-to-back test with big bro' (The Midnight Express?) when time and conditions permit.

@lonbordin money to be made here - this exposé should form the lead of eVailco's marketing campaign to lure more survivalist carvers to PP.

If that mod can work on a SW, I may ask Walker at Bomber if only ordering a spare step-in Heel
Just be aware the sidewinder blocks are taller so if you just get a heel block there wiĺl be a stack height difference between heel and toe - either need to shim toe block up or get a SW toe block too.

Dave noted with thanks. A pleasure to have your road test. After a trial fit, not sure the b/lands will be wide enough for my platters, but, like everything alpine, I am chasing a similar idea in a WV boot; maybe a Scarpa.
Perfect world; same boots - swich springs for hard pack/ pow. Unicorn?

Test driving some used Atomic Backlands as a "softboot" setup for my Contra AT's.
Dave are you using the Phantom springs on those B/lands?

Has anyone tried a plate on a Contra
in Carving Central

So maybe a 4x4 mount might work better for plate on a Contra?
