  1. PC- haven't been there in a month or two. Been having too much fun at Loveland and the Basin. Wish I could join you, but I have involuntary commitments that day. It was good seeing most everyone on Sunday. Wish I didn't have to dip early. Heal up Iceman. Really sorry to hear about your ordeal.
  2. First off, damn Don I'm really sorry to hear that. We have some knee rehab equipment that we are willing to loan out if you want just pm me. Scouting report: mid ride on Wednesday right now and the snow has held up great since Sunday. Super super fun. With the possibility of some more inches along the divide this week I think we are in store for a great session on Sunday! See y'all out there.
  3. Can't go wrong with anywhere in the River Run base area village. VRBO, Homeaway or any of those sites will probably be your best bet. My cousin used to live in Red Hawk lodge and it is really nice. About as close as you can get to the gondola and has a nice heated outdoor pool. I live right down the road and will probably ride 12/11-13. There are also a few others that ride there fairly regularly (b.free and pcdenver). Your pass will also work at Arapahoe Basin and there is a bus that will take you up the pass and back down. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer aaronkiteparsons@gmail.com
  4. SOOOOOOOO I think I got a very good contact with the heating and rubbing method. However I got a little overzealous with the rubbing and some of the sticker was discolored. Survived a day on snow at least and seems to be really stuck on there. Corey- I think the quality of the sticker plays a big part. Ive had cheaper ones come off really quick. If I remember the Bomber stickers were kinda thick and non pliable. BlueB- I had to decorate this one. I got it used and it is the most horrendous shade of blue I've ever seen (rival college's marquee color). My custom topsheets are as God intended.
  5. Some say it never stops turning
  6. Go fast and stay whole. 5 "days" in so far so good. My mom thinks I look cool.
  7. Selling my old suzukas. Size 27.5 mondo /299mm. They were pretty much NOS when I got them. Put about 80-100 days on them. I replaced the stock arch strap and buckle with the New style micro adjustable kind. New toe pads last year. Stock 5 position lean mechanism. ***the medial cuff hinge t-nut on the right boot is cracked and must be replaced. I rode it cracked for a while but I would strongly advise against that. All other plastics and fittings are solid on the boots. $95 shipped to lower 48. SHELLS ONLY.
  8. And the search ends in record time.
  9. I'm going to switch from Deeluxe Track 700 sz 27 to UPZ due to fit issues, but I am worried that my Large F2 Race titaniums might not fit the UPZ size 27. I use a bail binding in the front and intec in the rear. If anyone has any insight on whether or not I might have fit issues with the new boots please share.
  10. Looking for a pair of used RC 10 Mondo 27 shells. Can trade last years Track 700. I want to love the track 700 but they just don't fit my flintstone feet quite right.
  11. Loveland was good today. No lines and sunshine. Sunday will be fun.
  12. Does anyone have a reliable method for getting vinyl stickers/decals to reliably stick to carbonium topsheets? I haven't done it before and they ain't cheap so I don't want to screw it up.
  13. AHHH man you got me! I'll take it!!!
  14. You know I'll be there. Got the keystone/abasin and Loveland passes this year.
  15. Jack, East Coast Slush Sesh...... you might remember it from a couple years ago.
  16. Hey sorry to dip out on everyone like that. I started to wait at 6, but thought I was too tired to ride anymore. Ran into Lance at the bottom and had to do another. See you guys at the Basin or next season!
  17. I second something shorter, but that's my personal taste. You have everything you need to develop the skills to carve like Corey et al. A new board other than what you have won't magically elevate your riding. There is no substitute for time on the mountain.
  18. Gosh I sure hope to. I've kind of psyched myself out of riding this week. Maybe I can find my big girl panties by Sunday and make less of a fool of myself. It's looking like I hope to be on the Loveland season pass wagon next year too.
  19. Thanks guys. Right, I'm just glad to be okay, sore, but okay. Bfree, it was a high side coming off a really hard heelside turn. Flipped me a couple times and I came down hard on the tail of my board. Heard a pop and thought it was my leg. I'll put some pictures up eventually. Its not the most impressive looking break, but it is broken through the core so the board is toast.
  20. Mario and Ink, thank you for your condolences. I am still grieving (and sore as hell). Mario, I actually sold off the MK to fund that new proteus. Third day out on it. May it Rest In Peace. Next time I won't be so big headed and slow down to avoid gear breakage and potential hospital bills. I still had a great time seeing everyone. See y'all next time.
  21. I'll check my reserves when I get home, but I don't think I have any extra. Someone with a season pass can get you a really reasonable ticket for I think about $50-$55
  22. Yes, will be there and the next one. For once I won't be getting off a 12 hr shift right before the lifts open. Looking forward to it! By the looks of it so far I think we will have a great group.
