Anybody been in this situation? I paid the $50 deposit before I found out my work out West was done...........On East coast now in Northern NH, so really don't see myself traveling.... to even Vermont to get the use out of this pass. They have tried to finalize the $800 payment but I purposely kept that cc account almost empty to avoid this. What's the possible fallout? Does anybody know if Vail Resorts would send it to collections over $800??

I've moved back east and we have been Rocking for over 2 weeks in Northern NH and it's really good for just Nov.! ....I think I'm already on day 5 or 6! ......and we got another ft. or so coming Mon/Tues !! Wow....that seems like really quick turnaround for a custom Kessler! Way to Go! You should post any tips/tricks you learned for ordering a custom K!! Curious...what is the next custom weight range after 60-80 kg ... was it in 10 kg increments? ...and what did Kessler tell ya the recommended weight range for a stock Alpine 168 board was??

Sculler was that 168 Kessler a special order? Never seen Yellow in their lineup before Love my White 168 Alpine Kessler ....... and I'm sure you will too! Just be forewarned it's gonna snap into turns Much quicker and pop out of turns with More velocity than anything you've got...so don't let it launch you in the woods!!!

Hey Fish My 1st day was Last Fri. Nov. 16 ! Loon Mtn. in Northern NH opened 8 trails with top to bottom riding up the Gondola - It was Great! ...and I was out today also for Day 2!! Day 2 I felt stronger and was pushing harder...it's coming back!!! For it still just being November! the conditions are OMG! I'm usually on my rock board this early in the season but so far there's full coverage, no dirt, no rocks...... so I ditched the rock board and went straight to my everyday all Mtn. EC board! Riding my Swoard Dual II 168 with TD3 SW SI's My goal is get my legs and form back enough to handle my Kessler or Coiler And last all day carving or in the pow without my feet or thighs screaming their done after only 3 hours!!

I also wanted to add, consider this: There Are On Average 27 US Avalanche Deaths each year! ......and not all those US deaths were out of Bounds or out West!! So don't get it in your head "well that could never happen to me" because I don't ride in Europe or off-piste or out of bounds!! Looking at data from all Avy deaths from 1951 to 2016 the top five states with the most deaths in order were not surprisingly, CO, AK, WA, UT, MT, ......but NH, NY, ME and VT were also on the list with a combined Avy death toll of 22! So Be Aware and Be Prepared ~

Just released, 13 minute educational documentary from the parents of avalanche victims, Ronnie Berlack and Bryce Astle, US Development Ski Team members who died Jan. 2015 in Soelden Austria. This hits even closer to home and my heart as Ronnie Berlack was a Franconia NH local kid, our families went to the same church and we shared holidays together, our kids were in the same schools and our son and Ronnie raced together back in the day. He was a phenomenal skier and athlete who truly had Olympic Gold medal potential but more importantly he was a great young man who is truly missed! Miss Ya Kid! Don't let this happen to you or your family - if you go off the groom into the backcountry get the gear, get the training, get the forecast, get the picture and get out of harms way. Everyone have a great season and be safe out there.................................

Once I get a couple of weeks of solid use under them I'll post up some feedback. I'll do a same day 700 to 425 comparison and then I'll stuff the Pro Tongue into my Track 700's on the same day for a 700 with and without a custom liner comparison. I haven't tried to see if the 425's will step right into my TD3 SW SI's that are set up for my 700's on the Kessler, Coiler and Alloy D.O. boards. Hopefully no binding adjustment is needed...........but I do know the Track 325's I have for my pow setup required a different binding setup because of the smaller footprint(?).....even though all my boots are mondo 28

Good to know Dave! ....but I met with the local ski/race boot fitter who's also a Podiatrist and he suggested Intuition Pro Tongue......(he doesn't sell many Thermo Tongue liners so he doesn't stock them) So I ordered them from backcountry.com and just got back from having them molded to my feet in the 425's Seem pretty good carpet surfing so far! So the dead is done...at least for this season!! Thanks for everybody's input!!

Thanks for that info Corey So in choosing the Alpine Liner your shell fit was more than 1 finger? "The Alpine is a medium volume liner and works best with a shell fit* of One – two fingers (1/2″-1¼”)" ...or you just wanted to take up more room in the boot with a "Medium Volume" liner ?? I'm a low volume shell fit, but thinking of getting medium volume (Dreamliner) tongue liner.... for tighter heel pocket and eventual pack out.

Curse you Beckmann, you are so ever the Sage...and you've dashed all my hopes!
