  1. "Step up" by Drowning pool "Shake your blood" by Probot "I wont see you tonight Pt 2" and "Unholy confessions" by Avenged Sevenfold idk. I like really loud music when i ride. Something where the guitar just rips http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXSV4WRfqvg
  2. Nothing a little tune and meth injection can't fix. You should definitely put a blower on it, or even a small turbo!
  3. I would love to argue that. but i wont. Either way, i appreciate you minimizing the argument of Hard boots vs soft boots in this thread, 'cause i would say this topic is probably one of the more important ones we've had, lately. It is tackling probably the most intuitive gate way for a non-alpine rider to learn about our sport. A little more than a year ago, when i was trying to find information on this sport it was a real struggle (until i discovered this place). So please guys, keep it on topic. No need to drag a argument out, in this thread. - - - - - - - - - - - - - With all that said, i think there should be some mention of the fact, on the wiki page, that most beginners get their first pieces of gear used (unless thats wrong, and if it is please correct me). This will hopefully get more people more comfortable with buying our used equipment, and the likes.
  4. Would Georg Rabanser be a notable figure of the sport? ...Or Shaun White? :p
  5. NSR.... NSX whats funny is that the NSR always made me think of the NSX... bruce, is that your car? and is there any thing done to it other than the rims?
  6. So, to be clear, what your saying is i should call bomber, and ask about them?
  7. Hey post back what you learn, Scott. I have the same boot (as i'm sure you realized). But instead of shortening the the arch wire, i just put a lot of foam in the boot on the of the liner, where the arch is, and right behind the heel as well, in a pocket style. it works well, even if it's a little ghetto. I also had to bore out the small pre drilled holes in the cuff to get that area tight enough.
  8. Does the metal Axxess have the same flex pattern as the fiber glass one? in particular, the soft nose? i love my Ax, but it's thrown me over the handle bars several times. one particular bad nose stuffing left my legs sore for the rest of the season
  9. Are you the new ski patrol guy, who rides hard boots?
  10. for you. i was there till 7 at the company party... In soft boots w/carving stance. they snow in the morning was really decent. I could've road it in hard boots. but as the sun pounded away, it got softer and choppier. i had to change my riding styler progressively through the day. At about 3 o'clock, however, i got a really good dial in, and was able to start cutting though to the ice on the bottom, with was honestly quite gripping. I think if they were to re groom the hill at this point it would've been simply amazing. How ever, they didn't, so although i was riding great, it was very tiring, to fight through the chop, while holding an edge. By the end of the day, my feet were absolutely soaked and i had no regrets; this was probably the best day of snowboarding i've ever had. Not because of the snow quality, but because of the 'ride like theirs no tomorrow, because their isn't one' attitude All 8 my friend and i were riding with. I'm gonna miss snowboarding :( Next year might be a Mountain host, btw.
  11. i'm going to go out on a limb and say that bases on the [infamous] turn at 0:37 you also need to put more focus on keeping your weight forward. (doesn't it make your feel kinda good about your self that your backwards from the typical duck stance soft booter? :p ) did any one else notice that it looks like he was dragging his hand, right before the picture was taken? just wondering...
  12. you should post a bigger one of trent... that ****'s desk top worthy
  13. so trent i noticed your on bomber home page.. lookin fancy, my man
  14. yep. and we plan to be open till at least the 21st
  15. i just put a lot of foam there. yeah their a nice boot, but need a little bit of modding. the new ones are supposed to be fine though
  16. Nice boots, Scott. when did you pick those up?
  17. i made it out 33 times this year. i'm pretty satisfied... but i might re attempt, with soft boots...
  18. whats the rake made out of? aluminum, or steel?
  19. if it was wider i'd probably buy it and put soft boots on it... i've been watching this board since january, when you posted. it's such a nice looking board... ... i'm debating buying it as wall art...
  20. i find it ridiculous that his board simply wont sell... how wide is it?
  21. this is probably one of the most important topics in BOL history. Never mind the soft boot war! This is far more pressing :p really good observation, though
  22. waste of time. not worth going out again in my opinion, unless you have a 12 pack. literally every thing pushed away. if you are going to go, conditions might be a 5/10 if you get there in the morning. season's over, and i need a new hobby. Edit: make that a 24 pack.
