  1. quit staring at the Terminator and look where you are going......
  2. I have to admit, I had a collision this past weekend and I was the UPHILL skier/carver..... Unfortunately, it was with a chairlift pole!!!!!!! Funny, it did not complain or pick my board up and throw it into the woods. No injuries though (unless you count my ego from the laughter from the chairlift....).
  3. Is this still available?
  4. do you have some other pics? What weight rating would this be for?
  5. where am I in line for the TD2's? I may take both pairs if still available. will have to confirm tomorrow.... let me know.
  6. Hey Kurt, my offer still stands on the 180 if you want to free up some cash....:)
  7. Hey Fin, are you going to have any SW's at SES that will be for sale? save on shipping you know..... :)
  8. not at all. Really liked the place for the time I was there. Was a skier my whole time there. Just seems like it wouldbe tough to really get it rippin on the short vertical. Made the move down to EVL to get at least 10 turns in before you run out of vertical....
  9. was a member at Caledon for 30 years, so I know the trails pretty well.....
  10. Pretty hard to get into a rythem when you only get 2 turns in on the hill... Mount Caledon!!!!!!!

    Madd 180 - sold

Fell in love with a Madd 170 this winter. If anyone knows whereabouts of an available Madd 180 firm board I would be interested. (quiver can never be toooo big....)
  13. Hey, heard the snow is a little light in Aspen this year. Any updates? When do I start to worry? Do I need to bring my rock board to SES this year??
  14. I will take a pair of the TD2's if you will split them up. (I ride STD on the front and SI on the rear).
  15. Looking at getting a skwal. Anyone have any insight into board selection?? I currently ride a Madd 170 and a 'Bruce special' VSR. Can you use TD3's on these boards or are they too wide? I am looking at a Guepard 183, anyone on that board currently? I weigh 210 lbs and 6'2".
  16. Super cold snow is unrideable out this way. I went to Kicking Horse after a solid week of -30C temps, dropped off the first run, and stopped. It was like glue. We had to ride in areas where it was sun exposed, because anything in shadow would bring you to a screaming halt Kicking horse on a carve board???? Man, not too much terrain there to lay it out!!! I was out there last year when that couple disappeared, had my hard boot set up and only used it one day. Skied the rest of the time.. too much steep and deep.
  17. are these sold yet? I will take them if they are not.....

    Madd 170

I LOVE this board!!! have been out on it 2 days and cant put it down... Even after just receiving my new VSR from Bruce. I walk out the door each day torn as to which board I am going to pick up. It just feels like an extension of my body...
  19. I love how no one seems to know what spec's Bruce makes his boards to (or seems to care) but we all still love them anyway. I think he sends some magic dust on every board that makes us drink the cool aid......
  20. cool, i will try these suggestions. I just put some inward canting in my setup this year cause I read so much about it in this forum. I will try and take it out and see if that helps. In my little head when the hampsters are running in the treadmill, logic tells me that putting more lift on my front toe (5-6 degrees) would push my stance more onto my rear? Does that work in reality? (I dont currently have 6 deg plates).
  21. Had my first day on the slopes this weekend. Feeling pretty good BUT..... Here are my details: riding a Prior 179 4WD. (my new Coiler is sitting in the closet till snow conditions improve). angles of 60/58 and TD3's with 3 degree plates front and rear. currently have set up with about 1.5 inward cant on front and whatever that gives me for toe lift (probably about 1-1.5 toe lift). and the same inward cant on the rear but with heel lift. Problem I am finding is that I have good feel of my toeside carve, but when I am on my heelside I cant help but have almost all my weight on my front leg and that my rear leg is just along for the ride..... Thus, I have little confidence to commit to the heelside and find that I am sliding out whenever I am on anything but hero snow. Is there any suggestions on canting or lift that anyone can suggest to try and get more weight to my back leg? If I just lean back it just gets away from me.
