  1. A premature post on my part. Some complications about shipping via FedEx--board was left at a drop box, usually they do not accept oversize packages or FedEx Ground shipments. Package not registering in FedEx system yet. Good communication re-established with the seller though. I am hopeful again.
  2. Well, it now looks like I flushed $300 down the toilet on this board.
  3. Beyond the story, it's absolutely cutting edge inline journalism. Really impressive.
  4. There are a few other nice carve/pow capable boards for sale on Bomber right now. Like mine ;) http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?38354-Garage-173-Freeride-Board-225-shipped-or-Trade&highlight=garage It think there's a Steepwater Plow also floating around...
  5. There have been some decent Nidecker Carbons on Ebay the last few weeks.
  6. Hey Marc, I think it was Mt. Snow. I'm pretty sure it was a father/son pair and the son was on the Supercross.
  7. Hey Top of the World, Check your email! :)
  8. Thanks for the reviews! That's about what I was expecting. The Supercross was the first board I ever saw someone really carve on--he made it look so effortless. So, I have a bit of a nostalgia for it. Hopefully one will pop up somewhere.
  9. Not very picky, just have wanted to try both over the years. Let me know if you have one you want to part with. Willing to buy or trade.
  10. Ahh, I see that now. Tnx. I'm very tempted. I bought one of these a few years back, but it was base high and had been ground down to the point of being transparent trying to make it flat.
  11. What's the waist on the Madd BX?
  12. Hi BOardski, You never know! If you have anything intriguing in your quiver, give me a shout.
  13. Ha, and now I have a board available in your price range! :) http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?38354-Garage-173-Freeride-Board-225-shipped-or-Trade AND, a vid of the maker carving it up on one of his boards, same length.
  14. 173 Garage Freeride Long Board - SOLD Picked this up on Ebay and the seller had mis-measured the waist. It's too wide for my liking. Custom-made, cap board that shows excellent worksmanship. Condition-wise, it's in nice shape overall, about 8 out of 10. It has a small nick and and one or two scrapes on the tail. Bottom and edges could use a minor tune and deburring. Waist is 25cm. Supposedly these are masterpieces from the master, John McGinnis in Montana, and beautiful rides! I'd be willing to consider trades for freeride/bx-ish boards with 24cm or narrower waists. (Prior ATV's, Oxygen SBX's, etc.)
  15. Any of those boards would work. Price will probably be your biggest issue. If you go for a Donek (I love Doneks--especially the Razor), make sure you ask what rider weight the board was made for. Too stiff is no fun. There's a Prior Khyber on Ebay right now for a decent price. Worth looking at. Good luck!
  16. Good timing. I just snagged one of his old Garage 173's Seems like the original owner had the foresight to have it built with a narrow waist. Perfect! Looking forward to testing out one of his creations.
  17. That Coal is a nice board--would have snagged it myself if the waist were narrower.
