  1. Just wondering what others uses to glue base patches to boards. I did a repair and have a patch about 1.25 inches by about 4 inches long along the edge. I glued the first one down with some Loctite Hysol that I got from Tognar but it doesn;t seem to hold well to the p-tex patch. I also used the stuff to glue in a new section of edge with some screws but it didnt seem to hold very well. I re-repaired the edge with some 4hour epoxy and it has held alot better. used these instructions to do the repair. http://www.telemarktips.com/BaseRepair.html Any other suggestions.
  2. My wife is a Physio and sometimes I get low back pain, she tells me that my muscles are imbalanced so she recommends I stretch the affected muscle and then also my hamstrings and quads also, it suremakes a big difference. I lay on my back everymorning and stretch and haven;t had any problems since. If I forget for a few days, a slight bit of pain comes back.
  3. I was there a few years back, The gondola is great for top to bottom (over 4000 ft of vert) riding. The top half of the mountain is all open bowls steep as hell and no trees to stop you from sliding to the bottom. The rest of the hill is groomed or bumps with varying degrees of pitch. If you are going to go, be sure to bring an all mountain shaped board. Race boards wont cut it here unless you want to ride the lower mountain. I love steeps and bumps so It was a great experience for me. If you like some backcountry, there is lots of opportunity from the top of the mountain but This year the snow is unstable so I would recommend a guide. The restaurant at the top of the Mountain is pricey but the food is ok. Oh yeah and there is some hot female Patrolers that work there. Might be a good thing to fake a sore arm or something.
  4. Looking at the pictures, IMHO it wasn't the bindings that broke the board as the break is inside the contact patch visible on the board. You might be in good shape to get a warranty as that seems like a really odd place and way for a board to break like that.

    On Line gaming

most games you buy at the store that have online play are free to play , you have to set up their software on your comp and it will go to a lobby where you will pick your game room to play with others. You can create private rooms if you want to play with your buds. Some games have voice chat so if you have a headset with a microphone, you can talk to each other too. One way around the chat is to use an IM program with voice chat. I used to do this with Rainbow6 with my Brother and it worked fine.
  6. I might have one, i broke a heel last year and ordered a new pair and have one that has one day on it. I am not at home right now, I won't be home untill Jan 11th. but remind me then and I will check. You can contact me through bomber.

    Winter biking

I ride my bike year round to work about 2k or so. It is cold in the morning because it is all downhill and I get brain freeze. I wear my snowboarding helmet and goggles. It sure helps. I ride a trek 4500 with a few upgrades and WTB weirwolf tires.
  8. I ride mine in the pow, trees and moguls in lemans boots with BTS blue springs. I haven't tried any other colour but I dont find them too stiff. I used to ride front locked and rear unlocked.
  9. I made these last year. I poached the picture from someone's post here on BOL
  10. ~388$ Ouch! Pretty hefty price to pay to be the coolest jibber around.
  11. Here, let me try. Hello everyone, here is the beast that I just recieved. It is a beautiful Coiler Titanal ..... with the new topsheet. I can't wait to try it out. have a good winter everyone. Maudit tabarnac.
  12. Sorry Joe but Kaida wants both sets.
  13. This is a picture of a powerline being built, the wires were laid out on the ground and go over pulleys(travellers) at the top of each pole. Then when all the wires are laid out, they tension them to get them off the ground and into the air. While they were pulling the wires up off the ground , one of them got caught in the rack of the moose and he stayed tangled. It sounds far fetched but there is probably better odds of seeing this than getting hit by lightning. (I am a Powerlineman by trade so that is how I know)
  14. sorry guys we had a big wind storm here and I was busy fixing the powerlines. When things get back to normal I will figure this out.
  15. haha Stephane is a boys name Stephanie is a girls name.
  16. Joe, I will wait a week to see if anyone wants to trade, then Kaida has first dibs, I dont know if he wants both or what but you are next. I am guessing they are for the sb series., they are the same as my lemans boots, just too small cya Jason
  17. I really like my intecs. I am 230lbs and 6'4, I put a lot of pressure on the bindings. I moded the release with some nylon webbing and some fastex buckles that clip into the top of the release handle and extended it up to my hip so I don't have to bend over to release my rear foot. I just tug on the webbing at my hip and pop out I come. I do carry the Catek retro kit to revert to bails if anything breaks while I am at the hill. If I lose a foot, I would be nervous to return to intecs for the rest of the day. They(intec) makes sense to anyone who works on the mountain as you are constantly in and out of your bindings. It sure makes it easy when running ski patrol toboggans.
  18. I have some old raichle tongues for boots sized MP25 to MP 27.5 The silver ones seem to be soft and the black ones are stiffer. they are in OK condition, they have some rub marks from being used inside the shell of a boot. There is also a rear spoiler for boots too. I think they fit all sizes. If anyone has some stiffer tongues for size 30MP lemans boots, I would be willing to trade. If not, I will send these out for shipping and Karma. fleagalbaum@h o t m a i l.com
  19. I live in Penticton and ride at Apex. There is some guys here from Kelowna and Sheffy lives in Vernon. Email me if you want to ride down here this winter. I patrol At apex and know the mountain pretty good.
  20. I was just wondering if UPS has changed their policy on shipping to Canada from the US. I received stuff with UPS recently and there was no brokerage fee. It was not shipped ups ground but ups international or global.
  21. With all this talk about titanal, I was experimenting with beaver hair impregnated epoxy weave and some attack beaver tail nose shapes and have come up with a board that excels in all conditions especially world cup courses.. The patent is pending so don't think about copying my idea.
