  2. if it's like the one Mike T used to have it's 182 cm. long with 20cm. waist and sidecut 12-15 my son is having fun on that board now and it's one of his favorites
  3. i think "thread lock" by definition is not supposed to be removable, there are different company who make thread lock, "loctite" is a brand of thread locker and they have the blue kind (removable) and the red kind (permanent) maybe they just use different name for the same thing or the same name for different things but here is what Fin said in that particular post brand new Td3 come with blue loctite on their center disc screws
  4. i think some people are getting confused with "Loc-tite" and "thread lock"
  5. you might want to look for a used set of intec heels rather than a set of regular bails for your TD2 (as long as your boots are compatible) most people who switch to step-in don't go back to regular bails
  6. TD2 and TD3 are interchangeable (cant discs are the same and TD2 andTD3 bails will work on TD2 and TD3 base plates) TD1 only works with TD1 parts and viceversa Td2 is a major improvement over TD1 and TD3 is very similar to Td2 but with a thicker elastometer (more cushion or a little softer) Sidewinders is another option but more expensive and don't come in step-in (at least not yet. Fin this is your hint)
  7. an APO might do the trick, this is 188 cm. long, waist is almost 24.5 cm. I am 6.1 and around 220lbs I ride it with hard or soft boots (size 29) with 45 degree front and 35 degree rear angles, there is room for lower angles but that works for me and I can still carve it (better than the 4807) might not be the best weapon on ice but if it's a powder day even the groomers won't be icy, this is an older models but i think there are newer models available somewhere, don't know the exact specs but i'm guessing SCR around 11 or 12
  8. sounds like right now you could use one of this
  9. here is a couple of pics of slopestar i don't know his exact stance but i have seen him carving regular down a black run do a 180 hop and continue carving goofy without missing a beat, he usually switches a few times during the same run
  10. I was there today and it did not look that good, though I was not riding (not a snowboard anyway) definitely bring your rock board, have fun and happy easter
  11. very well done John great video to watch and to show friends who don't quite understand what carving means many thanks
  12. what everybody else already said it was great seeing some old friends and make some new ones, it was fun riding with everybody many thanks to Neil, Erick and the June Mountain Crew for making us feel welcome and mid day grooming and for those of you who didn't make it to Giovanni Saturday night you missed out, we had a great time and Coda Boards picked up the tab, thanks Chad
  13. i think he is talking about these http://bomberonline.3dcartstores.com...012_p_181.html
  14. try Steve Fleck sfleck he has done a lot of custom designs for snowboards
  15. NO NO NO i told you a thousand times already my BTS will not work with your Sorrel boots it sounds better in italian NO NO NO te l'ho gia detto mille volte i miei BTS non funzionano con i tuoi scarponi Sorrel
  16. try Dave Winters on BOL Dave Winters and/or look at this http://www.davidwinterswoodworker.com/gallery/album29
  17. about time you brought back the demo board, there is a line of people waiting for it and you've had it for 23 years!
  18. it looks like we have a couple of volunteers, i will update as the project progresses
  19. i don't know when but this is going to happen, hopefully before the start of next season, i will keep you updated companies that make T-shirts will be easy to find but first i want to work on the design, that's where i need help
  20. i bought plenty of gear from the classified and also Fin (the Bomber store) Bruce (Coiler) Sean (Donek) and i checked all the boxes on the poll except the last one to be more accurate there should be more boxes because i also traded gear on Bol, sold and shipped, sold and delivered, sold and it was picked up, sold and we met on the mountain, gave some away and lending gear whenever possible
  21. if you are a graphic artist or designer and you live near Los Angeles i would like to talk to you about a T-SHIRT project "CALIFORNIA CARVING CREW" i would like to make some T-shirts for carvers in California, i have a few ideas but i could use some help and i don't know how to put it in digital format so it can be printed there is no money involved, maybe a few beers, some food, a free T-shirt and most important bragging rights for years to come we can come up with 3 or 4 different design or styles and let people vote on it the cost per T-shirt will probably be determined by how many will be made and that depends on people being interested in buying some, price will be actual cost plus shipping unless people can pick them up or meet somewhere, i am not trying to do this to make money just to have something to wear if i ever make it to S.E.S. if you think you can help send me an email through Bomber thanks
  22. what BlueB said and it also depends on your binding angles, the higher the angles the more sense lift and cant makes (at least for me) when i was riding in soft boots before the power plates my angles were around 30 rear and 45 front with no cant or lift (because there was no cant and lift option) so when i started using the power plates it did not take me long to decide in favor of cant and lift similar to what i use for hard boots
  23. plenty of room for that one and probably all your boards too i am curious to know if you rode that Coiler and what you think of it
  24. this is why i needed a board rack
  25. home made board rack, something i have been meaning to do for a while and finally did, the pictures tell the story it was a fairly easy and inexpensive project, almost $7.00 worth of wood from home depot and i already had some wood stain, varnish and a bunch of screws at home you can easily fit at least 6 boards without bindings in each slot and if you want to you can have the bindings mounted on the last board in each slot
