  1. Send your girl friend and board here so we can have new independent poll
  2. It is so sad that even board looks so nice, it is still not even close to this one: http://carving.grewu.org/gallery/ecsIII/postecs/dsc_9959.htm
  3. Before i sold my Swoard, i was riding it mainly on softies, great board anyway
  4. Yes, only one thick block and then some thinner shims comes with bindings.
  5. Can not comment that yet, but it is stiffer and due some stuff played with carbon it will have surely different ride. Snow hs been soft and being playing so much with new Tinkler and new titanal boards that have had no time to do proper testing with it yet. Multiple boards, i have long windsurfing background and i had several sails, so why i would not have several boards? and have heard rumors that some people play some ball game with several "sticks" too, that sound really silly
  6. There is some double+ ammount carbon added there instead original butterfly
  7. That is one great machine, my local shop here has similar and i run my Tinkler thru it and it looks again as superb as it feels. This machines is no dumb machine, it measures everything all the time so what you get out from it is real good quality
  8. Partially agree that thing with tapper, but for many people it is not so easy to get them work properly on free carve. Question is naturally ammonut of tapper too, very modest tapper on Pens works well on free carve too, but these are first boards i have had on my quiver with tapper but for my style they work well. But i think this issue also depends very heavily of riders style also.
  9. One thing to remember is that shape of race board is different than what we want for carving. So it is not such much joy to get Kessler for every day carving than it is taking it on race track. Same goes naturally vice versa, great carving board is not optimum solution for race. But metal on board, or great craftmanship, will board work better than "old boards" on both environments.
  10. I have similar experience that metal is the future on bords too. You either need to get top quality board like Tinkler or then go with metal. I've been spending now quite much time last season with some titanal stuff and i must say that these things are really working even to avegarage Joe like me. This season i have spend all my time either on my new Tinkler TNT or my new Pen BJs, wich have been so interesting boards that i've been riding mainly on them and really felt that "metal rocks"
  11. There are sooo many rule for correct stance. here is one picked from old flegmatic-carving.com pages
  12. Had similar case last winter, but Fin updated me with new one
  13. I've been wondering samething cause it is pain to switch board with person who has same size boot but with intec heel (i mean switch possible only with historical bail bindings )
  14. Or to be excat 3 millimeters :)
  15. With modern (=wide) alpine board, decent shoe size, stiff boots and supportive bindings there is no problem carving on softies too. Setup last time used was Swoard 175, F2 Hurrcan boots and F2 HBX bindings but i personally prefer hard setup (due my bad ankles)

    Intec cables

I'm loosing as average one cable per season, either they will break or come as unfunctional due some of wires will break and make cable sticky to move. But nowadays i replace Intec heels with cables once per season so this is no issue any more.
  17. Prices are under Technology section
  18. Delivey is promised for mid December. My wife has riden last season with BTS and they looks to be working very well and she has been quite happy to those. As you see i was gentleman and installed them for her, not for my self
  19. RAB does not jam if you remove that useless stupid upper brass nut and replace spring with 60 or 80 mm long softer spring, then it works as it should Can not compare to BTS cause i've got only one set last season and new order is not shiped yet even season has started ;)
  20. Hard to get, in Europe? do you have checked ebay.de :D
  21. That depends very much how much they ask, but if it is less than 200 go for it. It is old modell but with reasonable price it is not bad catch for new board.
  22. For me it looked another tail spin, again
  23. Are you talking about carving 360/720 or bout tails spins? Carving 270 and doing tail spin is not hard but carving 360+ is tough call, for me atleast :(
  24. Dumbed out some good stuff: Tanker, Burner, Swoard etc Replaced with : Tinkler 178, Pen Blackjack 821&721, Madd 170CC, Pogo Impact 169 It will be interesting season
