  1. According text in tapes they are all copyrighted. And great stuff, it is pleasure to see them over and over again. Similar cult stuff as Hard Attack, but more carve oriented.
  2. This Titanal board has been in use now for one year, as test board, so if you handle it as any other board it should survive quite well: http://www.flegmatic-carving.com/gallery/albums/ft/DSC00172.JPG

    Hd-dvd

Before buying player you should decide if you want to go with HD or with Bluray wagon and hope that you made correct choice ;) Anyway on HD side Toshibas are way to go with reasonable price tag. Either way you pick, you will have plenty of enjoyment with great picture quality.
  4. I would recommend using DV casette version of those listed ones. It gives you much more options and very easy and cost effective way for extended shooting, tapes dont cost much. Two other options to think, but i dont know where you are located and pricing level there, but here it goes: -think seriously HD option, i mean high definition gives so much more to picture, with additional price tag :( -Panasonic HDR-SD5 is one tapeless option with HD, perhps something i would considere if i would be now buying HD camera, but i will stay with my Sony HC3 atleast one more winter EDIT I took look those cameras listed, and my quess is that where ever you are they cost half of any decent HD-camera so i would really stay on my recommendation to take DV-version. That requires only in worst case firewire card to your pc to get best available picture quality, i mean if you dont have that already.
  5. What thermoflex are the chines ones? If you thermoflex packed out, why you dont heat them again? I have those white/light gray Raichle ones and used them several years without any packing out problem, only problem is how they stink
  6. If you have serial number in board then you could check speck from Prior
  7. I think that 2 extra centimeters are coming from round tail
  8. Giro 9, i already cracked one and thanks that i can now use another one
  9. My favourites: - sound of wind - sound of sharp edge cutting slope Everything else sucks deeply.
  10. I tried to access Natew side radius calculator but no response, is that site down or just temporaly down ? Would be great shame if we lost that valuable source http://www.natew.com/frames.cgi/software/snow/html.Main
  11. Me like lower part of this picture: http://carving.grewu.org/ojankaivajat/2007/misc/occbig.htm
  12. I think this is also related where you ride, higher on mountains or closer to see level where snow is naturally not so dry, or area where most of snow is man made. So i think ther eis no one clear thruth as such.
  13. This was view from cabin window on crowded Saturday http://www.flegmatic-carving.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=11&pos=2 Unfortunately now i need to wait 4 weeks to get back on snow, if we dont get real cold front here sooner.
  14. I would also recommend suspension kit for extra protection combined extra luxuary ride But if not using it then i would propose extra thin plastic sheet, similar to topsheet to cover top surfase from sharpish corners of black cemter disk. Otherwise you can get marks on your top, specially if you ride aggresively. Any thickness 0.5-1mm should do, similar disk as Donek had for TD1's should do the trick :D
  15. Now full film is here online, with low res and high speed: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8642328170517482798&hl=en
  16. I've seen you riding so i dont this comment seriously
  17. Even TD's are great bindings, best i ever used, i have two major probs with them: - wear, on small lopes here we need to do huge ammonut of ins and outs of them, and they will wear out very rapidly - sound , with aluminium you really can not hear (and see) if heel is properly fastened, and with steel ones i never had any problems
  18. Same here, but no prbs cause here metric screws is no problem, i've got mine from my own box EDIT and cause i would replace them anyway with hex stainless srews
  19. TD2 fits nicely with SFlex, i believe that this is very interesting combo. Will give feed back when snow is here ;) Few more pictures : http://www.flegmatic-carving.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/sflex1.JPG http://www.flegmatic-carving.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/sflex2.JPG
  20. Perhaps on that comparison TD suspension kit should be without TD2 price included  And add there also Catek D3 kits as option too;)
  21. I'm sorry if i offended you or your bords somehow, but unfortunately i can not find that on my comments. Only "negative" i said is that zylon does not look good, as you say yourself also, and i commented pricing of zylon boards refering to other boards and i think that comment is corrct one. I said also that look of board is not relevant how board works. And what comes to dark history, i have bought 2 Viruses and been totally happy with them both. What comes to my riding, all of us have our own riding skills and ways of riding. When i go to ride, i dont do that to show, i do it to have fun. But we will meet again in Sölden ;) so from my side we can end this one here.
  22. You can perhaps read more about this look-a-like from EC-site  i dont think ther ei no need to open that can-of-worms here too. According my info dimenssions are as per Swoard
  23. You are fully correct, any MODERN alpine board is worth of riding. Some are not necessary worth of buying but there are no real bad-apples anymore.
  24. Bobdea, we have few here, but comparing them is not easy as such cause it is always also personal reference what on likes and dislikes. I mean comparing Gladi to wide BJ or to luxuary Tinkler is very tough call cause all those boards are from totally different world. Perhaps more suitable call would be compare Gladi to Prior Metal WCR and even there are quite big differences on board setups. That might be something i could compare this winter, if i found time, cause we have bouth here and i might be able to get my hands on them. Zylons are great boards, surely. But me personally dont lighten myself so much. I mean for that price i can get Tinkler or two Pen/Priors. And with Tinkler i can adjust board behavíour according date and slope as i want. But if i would have money enough i certainly would add one (perhaps) to my quiver, another story is then how much slope time board would get. Even now my "titanal" Pogo Impact, is mainly gathering dust, and that is one great board. As said once earlier i used to be guy who haited anything weider that 18cm but now i have found byuty of wider boards too. So last winter i spent my time quite equally between Tinkler TNT 178 and Pen BJ 821 (182cm) and then very small ammount on long Tinkie, Pogo or BJ 721. And this year it will be even more complicated to have now also Pen FJ there too, so let's see.
