  1. I was literally just there yesterday. Really good outlets, the burton store is fully loaded with all sorts of goodies. All the boards you didnt think people would need in Massachusetts, plus some museum pieces hanging in the lobby. I saw a lot of the older stuff marked at very good prices. I didnt get any burton stuff though, just a cool watch and sunglasses from fossil.
  2. good to hear! i hope it rides alright
  3. DUUUUUDE!!!! EFFIN SWEET!!!! Can I pre-order mine now? The quality is amazing, the riders look insane! This is going to be one awesome movie. I'm currently watching the teaser over and over....
  4. I loved the old SSX tricky with the alpine boards! Snowboard kids had alpine boards too, they were all asyms. The new SSX games actually have you carving turns, so im really bummed there arent any alpine boards to really carve on
  5. I guess jack's style is alright:rolleyes:
  6. dave, dont you have a crazy picture of a fully laid carve on 360?
  7. wow Ray, very cool:cool: who takes your pictures???
  8. tribes hill? you mean the loooong one? was that sager rd?
  9. all i want to know is... how did you get your board back on?
  10. Now that the season's over for almost everyone on here, I thought i'd start a thread about your best carving photos. c'mon, be vain:ices_ange Here's mine, cropped from a short video made by paragon:
  11. Ohh and by the way garecht, I'm coming back next week for good, so there'll be pleanty of carving to do! definately got to do the lots again, and maybe a trip to the js circuit if its feeling right.
  12. theres a problem that nobody can see: your trucks are wayy too tight on that *supposed to be* uber carvy board! Ohh, and having that much difference between your binding angles (looks about 10 degrees!) might be hurting in the long run, quite literally. Just try to get the bindings as close to the edge as possible without overhang, then after that its all about the technique!! Which youll get soon.
  13. the weekend of finals??? youre evil, dave. The loaf is a pretty big trip, so unless i feel 100% confident about my chem final I'll be sitting around here daydreaming.
  14. i hope the race titanium and carve rs dont get lost... as for the loss of intec, standard bails arent that hard to deal with!
  15. awesome story Dave! Might not want to rack up too many speeding tickets on that, they might take your bicycle license too!
  16. My family goes there every year. The past two trips ive spent longboarding around the resort hotel. its fun for the most part, once you get past the fact that florida is one of the flattest places on earth.
  17. I can confirm that statement:biggthump
  18. dont mess with perfection says steve:nono:
  19. 4 buckle and five buckle UPZ... good:biggthump
  20. Best day of the year for me was the night I rode with 350 and his brother at Jiminy. It was icy boilerplate, a usual night in western Mass, and I had been riding the greens and some blues and gaining confidence the nights before. 350 pushed me to ride trails i wasn't brave enough to ride before. My riding wasn't perfect, but I've improved a lot since the last time I rode with him and it made me feel great to be able to actually keep up with his carving. Ace of Spades was great for carving that day, the softest trail of the night and so wide with rolling steeps.
  21. you can get them new at http://www.catek.com/catekdirect/customer/product.php?productid=141&cat=&page= if that's what youre going for
  22. Maybe not as great and powerful as the almighty carved 360, but one thing i have yet to see (and think it would be really cool to see) is a buttered 360 directly into a fast, tight carve on an alpine board (itd be wicked cool to see that aftercarve become a 360) maybe its just me and my youthful perspective wanting to see the butter, but doesnt anybody think thatd look wicked cool?
