WhiteHorse
Does this mean that you'll be making an appearance this year, Bugs? We missed you last year! I've moved to the North Shore so I may not get there at all. Edited December 2, 2021 by WhiteHorse

Bobby Buggs
Been dealing with this degenerating back issue and it may be close to the time I have to sell my gear. Plus life in Naples during the winter is hard to turn down. My pool.....

pow4ever
sorry to hear about that Bobby! all good things comes to an end. For life is ephemeral. Last season was bad for me... lots of injury/pain/old age/"personal stuff happen" all roll into one. All those efforts of time/money/resources schlepping all these gears in the frozen waste land doesn't make sense for the level i was performing at. I am hopeful this season will be better; otherwise i might be throwing in the towel as well. been working on getting stronger/stretching. For some reason; efforts feel good again. sometime it's a mind set; sometime it's wise to know when to fold them. That's wisdom but i am a dumb ass. I do hope you stick around; and i am getting bury with all my gears lol... me precious dragon hoard...

It looks like their pricing structure is onerous and expensive, especially for a 1000' hill. Did you go there last year? If so, how'd things work out? Eboot
It's my local "mountain", spent a fair amount of time there last year, conditions were good but crowded. Have been there 2x this week, not great yet. I think it is expensive for what is on offer if you are day tripping.
Armtron2000
I'm hoping for an awesome season! They have invested a million dollars in snowmaking for this season!

*Ace*
BEast is now open for the season! Let the good times roll! Be sure to post up of you are riding and let everyone know how the conditions were. Armtron2000
I got some runs in today. There isn't much for terrain open yet. The actual conditions were pretty good considering all the rain we have gotten. It's looking like there are going to be some chilly nights coming up and they can blow more snow!
bc1
Hi WhiteHorse, Wachusett has put up bronze season passes again $429 for the season, this is a weekday pass. If you have flexibility during the week this is a good mountain for carving on weekdays and I almost always run into other carvers. WhiteHorse
Hi Brad, Thanks for the tip. I am a retired mid-week rider so that pass could work out. I do already have an Epic mid-week that's good at Crotched and Sunapee. Do you eve go to those areas? On 12/13/2021 at 7:56 PM, Armtron2000 said: this is unacceptable! Hi, Robin. I agree, I'll be looking for that T.D. Rally this year!
bc1
Hi Brian, Sunapee can be good mid-week I get maybe 5 days there a season. What you get at Wachusett is better snowmaking(smaller hill to cover) and a good group of carvers. pow4ever
Any comments on the condition at BEAST? This weekend should be pretty good with the cold weather; thinking a trip to Stratton/Beast in the near future.
