Eboot
Am in the build queue for a Contra later this year and was wondering if anyone had done a comparison of the “standard” Contra vs. the wogo? I demo’d @GeoffV’s Contra on Saturday (modified for him) and was very impressed.
bc1
Hi, I can’t give you a comparison but I do have a new Contra standard 166/10.5/21 you are welcome to demo at Wachusett.Send an email. Brad
dredman
I have both and dreamt up the WoGoCoCo with the help of @johnasmo and @Shred Gruumer. Both boards have the same sidecut profile and flex pattern. The WoGoCoCo has more rubber and the straight segments for sidecut. I find the WoGo slightly better than a regular Contra on icy spring freeze/thaw days or very firm snow. Damper and better edge hold. It is very predictable. Both were designed to widen the range of what conditions remain fun/easy to ride by just staying in the center of the board, very little to no forward and back movement needed. But wait there is more... Ask Bruce about the Contra KK... If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
