AgassizSkidder
@BlueB yeah. Glad I don’t have a place up there. Those folks are stranded.

lowrider
News says your road will be usable in 6 days. Lots of time to tune boards and check t-nuts
philw
Huh, I was just planning on a visit. Is it that wet all the way up?
AgassizSkidder
Fingers crossed although I doubt it will be open to full traffic. There are a number of bigger roads down in the area. I have a feeling it will be emergency access only with a plan to repair properly in the summer. This is a small hill and there is no village, hotels or shopping. It’s a cafeteria and a small pub lol. I love how they are pumping the place up in the various reports. Reading the comments it sounds like people think it’s like Whistler! @philw the snow is usually dry. It rains less than the North shore mountains. I don’t know how it is after this last storm. philw
It's been a while since I was there, the road used to be basically a dirt track, from what I remember. I've been a few times, don't think they ever saw anyone from UK before
AgassizSkidder
Lol The Road is still dirt and a suspension killer! I’ve had so many repairs over the years due to that road! The damaged section is right at the bottom.
barryj
Yeah....that's just a Delay. Not a season ender! Try to enjoy the 5 -6 day downtime! I'm still on injured reserve, so going on 3 months downtime here - Ugh!!
BlueB
Maybe visit us at Cypress, while waiting for the road? We had pretty bad conditions, last couple of weeks, but lots of snowing coming over the next 6 days, starting tonight.
xy9ine
hope they get that patched up soon. operations at that hill seem to have been tenuous for a long time. that used to be my home mountain as a kid; lots of good memories there (both learned how to ski and snowboard there) . AgassizSkidder
Looks like they have an evacuation lane open for a few hours today. Hoping for good news about full repairs later in the week
