SunSurfer
Watch carefully and the rotation of the skis, then body happens almost at right angles to his main direction of motion/ momentum. Like a rifled shell rotates along it's direction of motion. Edited July 16, 2019 by SunSurfer
Corey
More about the cat, less about cameras: That's a pretty neat trick for that guy! Before watching the video I assumed he started his upper body moving before leaving the lip, but he didn't. Conclusion: he's part cat.
b0ardski
all in the head, it was half way around before the skis changed angle look at the cats eyes Edited July 17, 2019 by b0ardski

SunSurfer
Dual cat drop racing? Which cat fur type drops faster? Does a live cat bounce more than a dead cat? @lordmetroland, where are you?

Jack M
Ok so it's a bit of an illusion. As he leaves the lip of the jump his arms and upper body are slowly rotating to his left, but he carefully keeps his skis and head pointing forward. He sticks out his arms and then uses them to wrench the rest of himself around, like a cat. I hope he had a pool or foam pit to practice this in first. scottishsurfer
it actually looks alot like how i 180 over a jump just more extreme i focus on getting my head and shoulders round first then just let everything else come around underneath to match
