piusthedrcarve
I got this combo this season to test softboot carving specific boards. The combo has been ridden less than 8 half-days. They're in excellent condition. bobdea
Haaaaa! My exact setup, don’t tell me you have a tanker as well! any interest in the Kessler I posted? Could use another set of flows..... could ship the Kessler with the hangl to you for a straight trade. That or if you wanted the unity could do that. bobdea
Just looking at the bindings, boots are too small for these dogs
Colozeus
@piusthedrcarve so it is safe to assume you did not like soft boot carving? What was your experience?

I asked Flow what size of the bindings I should get for 10.5 or 11 and they recommended XL. So did a lot of Flow users and also in @svr here. After experiencing myself, if I went with size large, it would be much hard to put in and out.

What was your experience? Hi Johan, Long time no see. Quiet opposite. I got the setup this season and was able to test many softboot carving boards with these. I like this combo (not super stiff but stiff enough) but I couldn't get used to Flow's fusion bindings even after days of riding. Thinking to try different boots and conventional bindings for next season.

I can feel the cable stretching or something...... my gripe is to get the forward lean where I want it you have to use the rear entry. Crushes my foot.... ride them pain free, by entering like a normal binding it’s hard to get back into the heel cup so it’s effectivly less forward lean. Still though, the best thing I’ve found that doesn’t feel harsh in hard snow.

daveo
On the note, I ended up with the Large Flow NX2-GT because XL was not on sale. And I must say they fit perfectly, which was weird. Seems like the XL are just wider than L not longer.
