Just read this article, came here to check it out and signed up. I've only seen a few carvers while out on the slopes, I come from a surfing background in Orange County, California so it grabbed my attention immediately. Definitely going to be trying this out as soon as I can. I over-exaggerate on my board already to make it feel like I'm surfing, hitting a burm with speed and carving out of it to get the feel of being on a wave....

This is one of the reasons i got into carving. I used to surf back in Florida (well the few days where there were actually good waves). And yes, it really is the same sensation. Like surfing, except that with carving, you don't have to worry about catching a wave. Though, there are many other variables. Welcome!
