Wow, you know that whoever is having to sell off this collection is not happy about it, very sad.

If this is the collector I think it is. He is selling down his 3rd and 4th string boards. He has an amazing collection of really rare boards.

Or: He going on another big climb. Like REALLY BIG.

Either way, he is probably not SAD :):(:1luvu:

Ho Lon, my kids race USASA and HS team. They need a GS, a 173 Prior, do you have? Otherwise I will buy the 171--shipping to Placerville included? thanks! suzi and boys

you can email me at sweetsooziep@yahoo.com I also need some bindings to go with that GS, whatcha got on hand!?

I personally need some alpine touring boots 26.5 --nice/new ones with G3 or intuition.

P.S. Please donate to Haiti--but NOT the 173, k?

I have a very old but excellent condition Shawn Palmer snowboard. My husband recently passed away and it was his. He told me it was worth some money and he never would let it go because of the value. A must see for snowboard collectors.<!-- START CLTAGS -->

This board just sold off craigslist last week, old school Grocer 188. He still has the listing up but it is gone.. These are cool boards....

Excellent value!! Those were definitely ahead of their time. Light, sidecut and LONG!!

I am looking for a litigator. Found one for $50.00 custom painted for a guy by Jamie Lynn but the base material had completely deteriorated. It had exposure issues from being used primarily as a display at a local surfshop. He pulled it out and I was so psyched only to see the base... still looking. Plate pow board for me

These are very well made (USA) boards. If you can score it for a "C" note you would have a very , very good deal too!! If it is clean, it is probably currently priced appropriately. These were just shy of 500$ new. I bought several of it's big brother back then. They hold up well under weight.

hi all - big thanks to lonbordin on this one. i guinea pigged it and the guy is for real. i got a brand new pair of head stratos pro (black 31.5) for $100 and only $15 extra for fedex. super deal and the guy is a stand up guy, for sure. presumably, he still has the other two pair (head and deeluxe)and i will vouch for this guy and i think the bol community get a psa with this one. i was going to paypal for both pair of heads in 31.5 but decided to hedge, given the craigslist factor and all. i didn't want to kill a deal mentioning bol because then maybe i wake sleeping dogs and the market opens up to him? dilemma. i hope it works out for anyone else like it did for me, but then i had a good experience with ski universe.................

Brian,

I left a couple of PM for carvercutie a few days ago but never heard back from her. I went to VT a couple of days ago to pick up the 24.5. Would have pick it up for her but she never got back to me. His name is Dave and his number is 802-309-1163. The boots is labelled as a 23 and it's in perfect condition. I don't think it was ever worn. He said even though the shell says 23, it's actually for 23 and 23.5. Did you buy that board on Sunday from Adam? Donek? My email rook underscore ki at hotmail dot com. Dang.

  • lonbordin',   an Oldenburg might be the board for you, if you are not insistent on metal tech.  i had one that i bought off of bol years ago and it fit's the description.   amazingly well behaved decambered nose, good amount of camber underfoot, but not too wide (i think it was 20 in the middle).  i've seen them in 180 and 185 but they are rare, i think.  at one time, Bola in Boulder at allboardsports sold them.   i sold mine to a guy in VT at Killington and I regret it, a little bit.  i broke 5 ribs on that board is what i remind myself when i think that i wish i still had it.  (of course it was me, not the board.  i know that.)

Thanks @davekempmeister !

So I was looking at eBay for a totally different reason today and just clicked on one of my save searches and saw those sweet Burners up for auction.  So I said, Hey! didn't I have an old found an interesting thing for sale thread... let's resurrect that thread.

Since Feb 2013 I've come a long way... I hope.  I no longer desire that board.  Bruce's custom Nirvana has completely altered my world and I have a 185 REV (Great race board).

Really the only opening in my lineup I desire to fill is the sub 12m sidecut slalom board.  That MK came up today but I'm not going to go that narrow.  So I'll likely have Bruce make something... tempted to just tell him SCR is 12 max, 23 cm wide, with a little extra nose for soft snow and a energetic ride and let him take it from there...

Mahalo!

Doesn't stop me from looking though. :-)

Board, bindings and bag... might be a good deal for the right person.

https://boulder.craigslist.org/spo/6010268414.html

Donek EC Custom Freecarving Snowboard - $375 (Louisville) hide this posting

00v0v_fa4JEWEDdZY_600x450.jpg

condition: good
make / manufacturer: Donek
model name / number: EC
size / dimensions: 170cm

I bought this custom for $750 when Donek was having a sale (their custom offerings often cost more than this) and installed Nidecker plate bindings on it. It's 170cm long, has a 10m sidecut radius, and a whopping 22.5cm width, allowing the rider to run their stance angles much more relaxed than typical freecarve boards, and has a somewhat forgiving flex (I weigh about 150lbs.) I haven't snowboarded in too long so I'm regretfully putting it up for sale. I will happily include the Dakine padded board bag with separate compartments for boots in the sale. It's incredibly nice. This board was tuned up and sharpened after these photos were taken so it should be ready to shred!
