jtslalom
Who cares? In my own opinion and I'm sure not many others, Who really gives a s@? Some uptite mom or others who don't really have anything else to think about. I could care less what Burton puts on their topsheet. When it comes down to it there are so many other things to worry about than what some kids are riding on. At least they are riding a snowboard and not ripping off some one's car. For any one who says otherwise I say eat some dirt every now and then, it toughens you up. Either that or go live in Newark New Jersey for a couple of years, you'll see stuff that makes Sharpe James look like a saint. Me, I'm a republican. dingbat
"When you really think about it, it's a young man standing on top of a naked woman's body," said Zarrillo, So, .... snowboarding is only for young men? Now who's sexist, huh?:p:ices_ange (tongue planted firmly in cheek)
KingCrimson
I liked BlueB's board better anyway! Saw a few Loves..to be honest I wouldn't have noticed them if I wasn't actively trying to spot on one the hill. Maybe I'm just numb to such things, but as soon as you start down the hill, your topsheet goes into stealth mode.
paragonUE
brilliant marketing scheme, really. how would they sell their boards that go core dead after one season if people didnt have scandalous topsheets to talk about? (that said, my FP is a respectable board, and my clash is a great crud buster, albeit coredead already)
Steve Dold
In a public statement Nov. 24, Jake Carpenter wrote that "the local reaction to these graphics has been hurtful and out-of-line." He said the company targets 18-year-old men who want gear "their parents would never be caught dead in." They wouldn't be caught dead in it because it offends them. Is "Jake Carpenter" mentally challenged?
mr_roboteye
It's marketing genius. Q: What do young guys (and 99.9% of old ones) like? A: teats and arse Q: If you want to sell a product to young guys, what should you put on it? A: teats and arse pure marketing genius. later, Dave R. . Gecko
I like the subtle hint that Burton may move it's headquarters if complaints continue. That would certainly shake up the Snowboard industry

pebu
Back in the day I had a Budweiser board... My mom made me put tape over all the places that it said "Bud" or the like on it so when I got on the schoolbus nobody would make a fuss. It did have the added effect of making my board look older and less desirable.

Gecko
Yeah. This is NIMBY to a tee. Posers. NIMBY seem's to be the policy of the decade.
