MJB
This is the official Canadian FIS race schedule. WC is world cup and NAC is North American Cup. If Tremblant puts the race finishing in the village, you can drink beer and watch the finals, how ideal! Hopefully see you there... Mark B. ps: now if only Ontario or Eastern states would put on an event the week before nationals... bueller, bueller?
Boarder_Ted
Mainers are the best carvers! Right Ted? We'll kick their scrawny Canadian a**es! On second thought, I'll just sit back and watch you do it.

skategoat
on the bonus at this rate the fall of the Canadian dollar the trip will be super cheap for the US people I wouldn't count on it staying that way into March of 2009. Ernie00
I wouldn't count on it staying that way into March of 2009. I wish I had your optimism skategoat! I wouldn't be surprised to see it tank in the low 60's cents. It should take a while to go back up. I very happy I paid fully for our march vacation in NH ! Then again I'm not an economist ! Rob Smith
I'm going to watch my son race and to ride a few extra days anyway. It would be great to hook up with some fellow carvers.
yyzcanuck
Rob, please let people know about this thread. You have a large circle of 'alpine friends' that don't participate here at BomberOnline. Some of them would surely like to make a long weekend out of the Tremblant NAC race. pan
I may be helping the National during that week. If I don't need to work, I will join this gathering. Please put me in the "may be" list. There may be a bordercross event at Mont Habitant on March 29. Training and practice on Saturday organized by Quebec Association. I work at Gray Rocks. If you guys are coming, I can try if I can arrange something for this gathering.
yyzcanuck
Thank you pan... over the next month or two we'll finalize the venues and if Gray Rocks is chosen, we'll certainly try to hookup with you to assist us in organizing something more formal with regard to lift tickets and maybe an area to meet. Ian M
I'm very interested! I'm not sure what my school schedule will be for March yet, but I'm pretty sure I'd have to be home for the Monday. I'd be keen for two days of carving with people, though! (I don't think I'd even miss Tremblant that much....) I might be able to offer a ride from Ottawa, if anyone else is coming from here. Ian :D

Steve Prokopiw
There is a distinct possibility that Maureen will be heading to TO with our boys to see her family around this time.(32 of em spread all over the TO area)If it happens to coincide with your event I would make it too. So,I guess that makes Steve and Maureen a maybe. yyzcanuck
Steve, looks like you'll have to do some persuading on your side. Our dates are fixed based on the NAC Race at Tremblant, March 30th, 2009. The plan is to ride on the 2 or 3 days preceding that.
