  1. Prior Metal WCR 177, excellent condition. $500 includes shipping to lower 48. Please email me at ben -at- bogeydog -dot- net if you are interested. Purchased in 2006, ridden fewer than 20 days. Ridden a couple of times with TD2 but there is no damage from this otherwise with lexan plates. I am including the lexan plates and hardware with this sale. A few minor base scratches from pebbles but nothing major. Recent PTC tune and structure is in great condition. Topsheet shows typical metal wear and scuffing but no significant denting or damage. There are some small nicks on the eight edge that will not effect ride or durability. Patina around inserts and other marks come off easily if buffed or polished. 3. Great choice! I should have my metal RC 175 on Thursday, can't wait. I think you should get a giant orange lion on the topsheet. ->Ben
  4. Do my 7 Coilers count as a quiver?
  5. Maybe back in the day but Geoff's is putting out MAYBE 100 ponies now. :)
  6. Yes, now we know EXACTLY how those stupid moguls are made. It's such a waste for that trail to have them on there though. Glad we got to rip it up once on that trail this year.
  7. I guess we'll see you next week at the ECES then. Sorry we'll miss you.
  8. The movie rentals off iTunes will not work on the old 5G and 5.5G video iPods. You need the new iPod classic or the iPod touch to use the video rentals. You can still rip DVDs into mpeg4 format to what on the iPod. Handbrake is a great tool for doing this. Also, you can convert AVI and WMV to MPEG4 with several programs and their name eludes me right now but I'll post when I remember. You can also convert uTube vids to iPod with a program tubesock. These are all mac programs BTW except for handbrake which works on windows too. ->Ben
  9. This came from Bob for you all. ----------------------------------- Thanks for all the comments! It was excellent being in Aspen and seeing everyone again. I just got home at 2:00 AM and have a lot of images to edit and post. Give me a couple of days. A link will be posted when they’re ready. High res images and prints will be available for purchase through SmugMug. They will be inexpensive. Please contact me directly for permission to use any image for publication. Thanks again, Bob Jenney - 2wheel at Comcast dot net.
  10. I've had both a 175 WCR and a 177 metal WCR. I sold the 175 for the 177 and I can honestly say that if you have the scratch, I would go for the metal. Not a board for those soft days but when the snow turns to concrete there is nothing like the metal for biting into and smoothing that out. It also helps in the late day chop but I would stay off the metal if it's too soft. The glass WCR is a great board and on good snow there isn't too much difference between it and the metal. But if ice is what you have then the metal is the way to go. I will say that the topsheet is delicate though so I don't have high hopes for longevity when compared to the glass board. I can't comment on the Donek as I have never owned one. ->Ben
  11. What is it about Paypal that you don't like?
  12. Wide angles were taken with a Tokina 12-24. I believe that Bob is not real happy with it even after playing with the in camera AF fine tuning. He is going to trade it in for the nikkor 14-24 f/2.8 ->Ben
  13. Agreed, but don't discount the ability of post processing and shooting RAW to pull off magic that otherwise would be unattainable. This is not in reference to Bob's photos as I know him personally and I have seen that he takes great photos right from the camera. Rather just a general comment on digital photography today. ->Ben
  14. Sorry we didn't make the drive up to Stowe today. It was only John and I up there today. Could seem to find Eric. Anyway, the snow, err white pavement was very unforgiving but we had a good time on it anyway. Besides we wouldn't be the Sunapee crew if we went up to Stowe now would we? ;-) ->Ben
  15. Bob Jenney is the photographer and he shoots a Nikon D300 and I am betting he used his Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 lens for those. The action shots appear to be taken at 1/2000 to 1/3200 of a sec. The info for the photos is available by hovering over the right hand side and click on info. ->Ben
  16. Bob asked me to put the link up for all to see, so I obliged. http://2wheel.smugmug.com/gallery/4336905_C3jvV#254407574
  17. That they are only getting rid of the negative feedback from sellers to buyers. Of course I could be wrong. ->Ben
  18. Something's just not right here. But I do like the next one on the downhill edge.
  19. SERIOUSLY!? This is not constructive. Jack's advice is solid and if you can't swallow your ego to accept that someone one else MIGHT have something valuable to say then don't bother posting this worthless stuff here. Harass me all you want at least I don't hide behind a stage name. Oh, and before you bother to deconstruct how I ride. I'll do it for you. I suck, I can't ride for crap. I'll freely admit to that. But don't belittle someone online 'cause it makes you feel better about yourself. ->Ben And that's my real name!
  20. I think that'll be another day out for us, the more the merrier. We get to the mountain around 8:30 and are on the lift by first chair at 9:00AM. We hit the trail under the quad to warm up then move over to the sunbowl. If there is no race or training on Lynx or Goosebumps we'll rip that for a while. Honestly, the mountain is not that big so if you take a few runs, I'm sure you'll see us. Sometimes we have the radios on 17-7, most times we don't have them though. :-(
  21. If you want a shorter binding screw you can get metric stainless hardware at ACE hardware. OK, so I just looked at the Catek site and here are the options for screws they sell. http://www.catek.com/catekdirect/customer/product.php?productid=23&cat=3&page=2 M6 x 12mm (with patch) OS2, OS1 M6 x 14mm (without patch) FR2, OS2 w/D3 Elastomer (Note: Patch not needed with D3) M6 x 16mm (without patch) OS1 sold before 2/15/03 I'm not sure what size you want since I don't know which binding you have. But you need to measure from the head of the screw to the bottom of the threads to get the length of these screws. So measure what you have and then subtract 2mm To know if they are secure enough you'll want 4 full turns of engagement in the screw. This'll give 4mm of threads since the pitch is 1mm. ->Ben
  22. I'll be there doing the airplane.
  23. I have a new pair here if you are interested. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=18707 Brand new. ->Ben
