  7. Sure, just let me know what you want to do. I could overnight something from the post office to somewhere in Aspen. The part you need is pretty light although I'm not sure that will make it any less expensive. I always ride with a spare set of heels in my bag so maybe someone there does the same and can help you out for now. ->Ben
  8. Board has been sold. Thanks for the interest.

  15. Yes, that is very much the case. Getting out of the Intec heel is a 2 step process and leads to less failures and damage on your gear. 1. Push down on heel 2. Pull lever and step out.

  17. It is kind of a pain, but yes, that is exactly what you'll need to do. The Dremel is not necessary but a good hammering is. :) I am very sure that they are m5. Touche ->Ben
  18. I'm no materials expert so I can't say for sure about the structural integrity of the tee nuts in there. Since they are cheap, I would just replace 'em. But you'll have a hard time finding stainless ones in metric. At least McMaster didn't have them in m5 last I checked. And if you do add the washer, make sure you put a longer bolt in there. The factory ones, as I'm sure you know since you replaced yours, are m5x20mm. ->Ben
  19. Ken, The tee nuts in the boots are actually zinc plated and I find that the only thing that will prevent that rusting is to take out your liners and dry out your boots every time you ride. Also, you can put some white lithium grease on the bolts when you put the heels on and that will prevent moisture from penetrating to the metal. Not a cure all but it will help. If I were you, and this is just me, I would replace those tee nuts. I would just feel safer. ->Ben
  20. White boots!? I see you are going to be like the rest of us now. Can you handle that. :-)
  21. A racer friend of mine who wants to remain anonymous asked me to post this for him... "I recall racing against Mr Fawcett in the qualifying race for Nagano Olympics and he was on a board a whole mighty lot similar to the current design and most likely uses similar materials that Tinkler is now doing . Sounds to me like its neither radically different or a very proven design as it somewhat went into hibernation for 10 yrs or so."
