  1. Yea.....I tried looking at those vids a couple of minutes ago..they didn't work then either.
  2. Is this board any good for carving or just going fast and skidding turns?
  3. Yea.. we get internet..but only when my dad's banjo is in tune. you can tunafish but can you tune a banjo? It's pretty hard to test drive a board over the internet! I did get to try out a few at ECES tho. I will be calling Bruce as soon as I pay off my credit cards!
  4. I have been riding Burtons for the last 10+ years .... It's what was available in Northern Michigan. So I guess I'll have to wait a few years before I am ready to ride the new high end board you sell? Here is me on the latest gear here.
  5. No fair....It's no longer April fools here! Glad they showed up! Hope they see some more days this season.
  6. I believe the statement made was regarding the Bias you may have toward selling new gear. I'm not questioning your abilities, Nor have I seen if you have any.
  7. I transport my helmet in my motorcycle helmet bag. I put that bag inside my boot bag.
  8. So by this analogy the F2's and Nideckers would only be good in Europe. Heinekien is so much better in Holland than it is here. I had alot of fun on my Burtons. I am hoping Coiler = Newcastle Brown.
  9. Is one easier to ride than the other? or are we just talking price:rolleyes:
  10. I have a 160 FP and have rode it hard all season. At 200lbs and 5'10" it's too short for me, older than I want it to be, and I can still rip on it. I took it to ECES and rode it back to back with a 164 metal Coiler PR with a similar sidecut. The Coiler was alot damper but had a similar feel. I will be ordering a new Coiler over the summer. This weekend is the first time I had the nose fold on me...while carving thru 10 inch piles of slush and holding the edge on the ice beneath. I made 5 good runs thru this crud, then went ass over teakettle 3 times on my last run. It was alot of fun!:D I would recommend this board as a good board for starting out on a budget. here is a short vid of me on my factory prime. P.S. I am using TD1's for bindings.
  11. WOW, I have had so much fun riding with everyone I have seen on the hill this year! The last weekend of fun was a perfect close to an awesome season:biggthump Pat, It was a pleasure riding with you and Tim, hopefully we can find each other on the slopes next season.:D Pebu, too bad we couldn't hook up more often on the hill, but it was fun while it lasted! I raced NASTAR on the closing day after I saw a hardbooter setting the course. At least four of us raced. (I smoked them all) There were many old asyms on the hill yesterday, most with 2 strap bindings. All in all it was a perfect ending to an awesome season. Hopefully next year will be just as fun! Have a safe and eventful summer, I'll see ya when the snow flies!
  12. Yup, sweet looking tele ski. I was having fun with the telemarketers all day yesterday. I even tried them myself...was accused of being turncoat.:)
  13. Nekdut, did you recieve any of my emails? you were/are first. clebner at chartermi dot net is paypal account.
  14. It was gorgeous on the hill today. The front side got soft by noon and the North face stayed nice much longer. I was boarding with another hardbooter that had a new heel bail made up at a local welding shop. He was playing hooky from work I heard that Sunday will be a Telemark demo day with boots and skis available from 2 different shops. I've always wanted to try...sounds like my chance!
  15. Must have bounced:confused: I sent a new email.
  16. So some of my old SugarLoaf pals told me a bunch of them will be on the hill for the closing day. I do miss that hill! No holds barred on Sunday ...First to get their pass pulled will become the hillside Grillmaster and have rein of the beer cooler! Finally 100 posts....and it only took me 3 years!
  17. Liners are Sold, Pending Payment.
  18. I ran the NASTAR last Saturday and got a 20 handicap. It was 1/3 second from getting the platinum...I might try it again this Saturday if I think I can be one of the first ones on the course.
  19. I just got a call from my brother and I do not have to go downstate this weekend:1luvu:...SO...I will be there all day Saturday and Sunday.....And for a few hours today too:D Good things come to those who wait!
  20. I never wore that pair on the hill Pebu...wish I coulda tried em first. Seems 3 molds scares most people off.....including you.
  21. I bought these to use in my new head boots but didn't like the feel. Molded once and used for two hours. Asking 90 shipped in the US.
  22. I bought these to demo boards at ECES. I put a new intec heel receiver and toe bail on the rear binding. The front toe bail shows some ware from use. I bought these used from rambleon. All hardware is in good shape. Asking 225 shipped in the US.
