  1. WOW - ward of Wednesdays !! As of right now it looks like either Tuesday or Wednesday nights at ward. Griff is checking in with ward to see if it's ok to drill 12-14, 1-3/8 holes in the snow and screw some Stubbies in. All are welcome, I've always loved ward for mid week riding, it breaks up the week, and beats doing squats for an hour straight at the gym. Either griff or I will post up the final details.
  2. I knew that my bank account was off almost a G-Note the other day. Perfect timing, I'll have it just in time for the ECES. Is there any supervision on this website for minors with access to family CC's ? Anyways I'm sure I'll look good on it............or it will look good on me ?!?!?!?!?! Either way this lunch tray, is comin to the hoooooood !! SHRED your the best !!!!!!
  3. I get it, it's like golf. I guess I could beat tiger woods, using my 28 handicap one day !! That would be an amazing experience, being in the mix with one of the best in the world, using my handicap vs his. What's funny is at NASTAR nationals one actually races against CK as he pacesets the very course, the very day of the competition so yes someone could actually be 3/100's off his time although I've never seen that or heard that claim. And yes people don't understand the handicapping system vs pure time so feel free to laugh at anyone discussing a NASTAR handicap vs. one of the
  4. USASA Is the perfect fit for anyone that wants to get into snowboard racing !! Go to www.usasa.org, click on regions, and find the series that competes closest to you. The website is user friendly and the people that run each series are usually willing to answer all questions you have. There will be lots of other SNOWBOARD racers there, that you can get to know. At 1st it will be humbling, but once you make your 1st clean run and get a true time, the killer instinct from within will come out, then its all over for you !! Good Luck ! I dont know anything about Nastar, except that people think that they're only 3/100's off CK's fore-runner times at Nationals:eek: hilarious !!!!!!!!
  5. oh dear is right !!! That 164 was built for me, Awesome board. Better suited for free riding than Slalom turns. the 2-0.5 ww is perfect for getting her way up on edge ! Good luck, she's a bute Clark !
  6. POWDA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guys its GOoNa be soft tomorrow. They should roll it out tonight, it will be very fluffy under edge pressure. If they leave it, because it hasn't let up all day, bring the Huck trays. I know what Bod I'm bringing tomorrow, GFY !!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Dr..........................can you teach me how to water ski on my Kessla 185 ?!?!?!?!?! See the thing is, is, I go up to my Uncle Donnie's house every summah on Lake Winnesquam and he's got a wicked pissa powa boat ! I just cant seem to figure it out, I wax it, I even scrape the wax before I do my dry starts from the beech. If I do get up, I then eat $hit right away, and almost drown. The boat fuzz has to come and rescue me, its a horrific scene. Its hard to swim, when my Tilts are still fastened to my bindings, Usually I'm in a panic. I am working on a secondary rope that when I let go of the main rope, the auxiliary rope would be tied to each toe clip; as the rope is speeding away, off come my binding out from under me. Bango problem solved ! Do you think I would benefit from using a softer setup, like Burton plates and UPZ boots in Walk mode, along with a Slalom board ? Could we do some video on the pond at the Stratton Mtn Gold coarse ?!?!?!?! All my uncle Donnie eva says to me is " JUST LEAN BACK........................... AND LET THE BOAT PULL YUP " GFYS .I.. Meanwhile, specific requests/suggestions are welcome
  8. carvin harda, and fatha than eva before ! 8am-2pm. what are we on anti aging medication, nope its T32 bro science . I feel refreshed and ready for day 2 of the carv harda and fatha festival. Thanks Dom, for all the advice on legs and core, your guidance, my 3 gym visits in the last two months, and uncle Steve's NCS track stash have really helped this year !!

  11. BIGS, As I was watching it all unravel for the Donkeys, saying to myself, thank god the PATS lost that AFC game. Whats the phrase " better you than me " The SeaChickens were unstoppable, no one was going to beat them ! Im just glad Tommy wasn't out there getting knocked around. I am calling this early, Thanks for Decker. He will be a Pat next year ! GFY's .I.. JMFD
  12. There is a sweet white top for sale in the for sale section here. It sounds like a perfect match, and the white tops are hard to come by !! It's a couple days old, so it might be back a page or two.
  13. Not sure if these records would really mean anything with a whopping 8 points put up. Most Super bowl completions "Manning" Most Super bowl catches "Thomas" Most Super bowl loses "Denver"
  14. This was hilarious ! I have honestly had conversations just like that one, to myself before. I don't know much about Justin Bieber, but I can relate to this guys passion for STRESS !!! GO Seachickens ! ENOUGH!
  15. I have recently been spending allot of time on the V2 plate . I'm sure it's not the top secret one that the boys will be using next month, but my 2 cents on it is the team at APEX nailed it !!! everything about the APEX feels right. What I mean by saying that, is what you assume your are going to give up when using a full isolation plate, you don't !! From slower speeds to full speed, you are in 100% control of your board. There is no more thinking about every turn like other plate systems. You are focused on one thing and that is going fast down the fall line. because you have not lost feeling of the snow, it allows you to adapt and react quickly to whatever turn you need to make. Set up was easy, the packaging was perfect and the quality of the product is top notch !! Thanks ALEX !!!
  16. Looks like my schedule is going to place me in Troy on Thursday. Which would make my 9:00am on Friday at the base of Stratton!!!! Can't wait, live that place ! P.S I'm over the LOAF .!..
  17. /\ Well with all the free time that Guy-Fatha and I have, we felt pretty confident that we could make the ECES deadline !!! Looking forward to it, our numbers will be lower than usual, but we will still cause a path of destruction and terror, like our mission statement promises at every public outing. So GFY's !!!

  19. WOW Ward On Wednesday.............................under the lights !!!
  20. GUY, there is no Otha choice but to bring a kessla 185 with apex plate. It would just be someone's else's kessla, like Hollywoods!! Neva the less , that's what I think the best tool is for when doin bumps on a cahv bod. I personally don't think you would generate enough raw speed or powa on any Otha bod. I would set everything as far back as my insert would let me, then I would do what uncle donnie always told me to do on lake winnisquam. "Just lean back and let the boat pull yup" P.s you think the wife likes her new fridge ??????
  21. 4 GUYS on T32 are rockin the vintage Raichles, so far so good. Like anything else are they perfect ? no, but pretty dam close. My favorite feature is I can switch between my skis and board without switching boots, and with screaming 3-5 year old kids, that want to go shredding and not wait for dad to go through his 30 minute process of getting into his boots just rite, it's a bonus. Here's a couple action photos on a training day last March.
  22. Since one guy was no help at all, typical MA$$-HOLE, and the other GUY you need a special decoder ring to understand his deep thoughts, I will try and get you on your SG correctly. When switching over to a "RACE board" like a SG or and Kessler, you have to throw your knowledge out the window of what we all learned over the years on our Coilers, Prior's, and Doneks. When riding the Coilers and Priors, they did set the inserts back and they recommended riding their boards centered on the inserts. The Donek inserts appeared to be more centered than the Canadian manufactures. When I rode my (2) Doneks, I rode them centered and that seemed to be the sweet spot. On my (10) Coilers, I rode them centered to the inserts, so I was set back. My (2) Priors where very similar to the Coilers on stance placement so I was also set back on the Priors. The reason I'm bring all this up before I get to my point about a "RACE board" is that no matter where you were on any of these three i just mentioned, you could get away with being more forward, or be more set back. They were all very FORGIVING boards, that you could ride with ease and control your speed on any pitch, and If you wanted to race with them, they were more than up to the task. Now to the SG/Kessler. Unmatched high speed board designed/engineered for racing. Not forgiving, and you have to be on it all the time to tame it, if you would call it that. When 1st getting these, non racers will tend to cheat up on the board, thinking/hoping it will help them initiate their turns, and most importantly control their speed when going down the fall line, in attempt's of not being completely out of control by the 4th or 5th turn, then the big power skid. Guy's will even cheat their plates up more towards the tip of the board, which is even worse, now your really shoveling $hit against the tide. You are fighting what that board want's to do, hence, " I hate this FUHHKIN thing it sucks " Binding/Plate placement: If your just putting your binding directly on the board, mounting a contact plate, or a full isolation plate, always center the plate. If your mounting your bindings on a plate and your beloved stance width doesn't match up with the inserts being centered on the board. You have to chose between that minor difference of being more forward or behind, go with being slightly behind center. This will keep you in the sweet spot, when these guys designed these boards, thats where they intended the rider to be. The Sidecuts and flex where all designed around the rider being on that section of the board. When looking at it set up, it will look funny and you will be saying to yourself that doesn't look right, but it is. Long story short, Be centered.
  23. If I were gonna do the moguls, I would "do it, to it" in a CAT D-6 doza. I would have Lynn McMitttens running the laser level with his mittens on and his Arc teryk gear so he stay's 100% dry. To ensure that we completely flattened out the steep terrain. I would finish the newly flattened moguls with Bidwell 30 yard paving machine. For compaction of the new terrain I would then bring in a Pisten Bully from either Stratton or Waterville Valley. My next step would be to call the team, then Gleb so he could video us, because we are camera whores !!! All operating and transportation of the Heavy Iron would be done by WRLco !!!
  24. You should have asked the guy you stole it from !!
  25. Lynn, I had a rough Friday, so I'm on the mend, unless something miraculous happens. No loaf for a while for this cowboy !!! 1st digger at 7:00am. slipped on ice while trying to pour some DEF fluid in the 6.6's belly. 2nd digger at 7:10am. went to step onto my side step on my truck, my foot slipped on some ice, yup full split, groin cooked. 3rd digger at 7:30pm. slipped on my staircase, tumbled down to the bottom. 4th digger at 7:45pm. slipped on the top of a two step landing, boom, on my back, FUHKIN TKO !!!! My chiropractor who's name is Lynn also, said my spine felt like an S. I've got plenty of BIO-Freeze on the groin, but it causing some serious pain in another larger area close to the groin !!! GFY's .i..
