Everything posted by MR. JOHN DEERE !

  1. Just got violated by the Bomberstore. $20 worth of parts, after my Bumbers broke Saturday. $19 for UPS ground..................... ?? At least my doctor uses lube for my annual.
  2. Last weekend was pretty good for T32. Tearin it up with my fellow grey beards. After they peeled off due to over crowding, I went back out to burn laps on my softie setup, prepping for my help trip later this month. Using my steps sons SG/BX board that he got from Shred, fun board. Realized I need some stiffer soft boots though, I heard the Burton SLX's were as good as they come ??? The show goes on Saturday and Sunday off exit 32 !!!!! Early and often in 16 !!!!!
  3. GUY, I can't believe you and Bucyrus passed on the Team 32 edition's. They can't come is soon enough. Looking forward to having the swiss army knife of carvin bods back in my quiva !!! I'll be up Saturday with the Duchess, then off to the company holiday party. Blowing snow tonight, and the rest of the week.
  4. The snow is like the end of the year snow. You have to hunt it before you can slay it. Sometimes is shred ready, other times, your waiting for it to heat up. We got to the goods early and often Saturday, Sunday was rough, needed to warm up, but it never did. Variable conditions. GUY, you got any gear left ? I just noticed the wholesale, whats left ?
  5. I have a nice 2003 Coiler 196 pure race, used for about 1 season. Royal blue. Still allot of life left in it. $300 + freight
  6. Oktoba fest next weekend at GOON . I will be in attendance, with my new stein from my recent Wacker Neuson factory visit.
  7. FYI to all the haters: My calfs are medium.
  8. Its funny, different tracks have different brand loyalty. That shot was taken at Warhead MX, its mostly Kawasaki's, probably because a couple large Kawi dealers are in the area. Wide open KX450F's with Yoshi pipes all day at that place, its throaty to say the least !!!!!! Then you go out to Baldwinville Ma, Crow Hill MX, its primarily KTM's, thats due to the fact that the owner Robbie Marshall a former SX racer is still sponsed by KTM, and he has about 50 followers. Either way its all thumpers, which is good for the hangover that I usually bring with me !!!!
  9. Muscle memory training, btw my muscles had been soaking in rum all morning!!!
  10. Dokta I love the Saab wheels on the splitta, hub caps and all. Very efficient , a one man fire wood processing plant !!
  11. I love the old D 8's, back then they were referred to as a CAT thats it, one size fit all DOZA . I'll bet she'll run, a little ethanol, charge up the battery, clean fuel and she'll turn right the FUKK ova !!!! Wanna talk about an upper body work out, run that CAT all day, you'll be a hurting pup. I brought about 16,000lbs worth of stumps to the stump dump last month, the guy pulled them off my trailer with a 1972 CAT 235, steel tracks, I thought the old timer was gonna drop dead. The running gear actually looked similar to an old WWII Panzer tank, it was a relic.
  12. whaaaaaaaap, whaaaaaaap, whaaaaaaaaap............ whoo hoo......... yeah................. dryva magyva !!!!
  13. Dokta sounds like she's right dun the Fuhk up !!!!!!
  14. Has is been that long since our last vid ? I promise there will be a vid made after next year.
  15. I've been using bomber TD3's. I know they definitely work on the index and F2's, I've seen more guys on that combo than my set up.
  16. I have been using the FT's for almost 3 seasons. A really good boot for carving in certain applications. Great fit and warm !!! Good for: When a stiff race board is paired with a heavy plate, that requires the rider to be on it all the time, this is the boot. It has more lateral stiffness that a Deluxe/UPZ. Not Good for: When riding a standard carving board without a plate, too stiff, and you will twist the board with the leverage that the FT's will give you. I like the Drop kick version with the #8 tongues, because it forward flexed very similar with to a Deluxe/UPZ. Also the way to your foot sits in the shell, you have great under foot feel. This is also due to the fact that a FT has mostly hard plastic under the toe and heel, its a rigid feel. Hope this helped !
  17. bobby buddy old pal, I have some dark grey tongues, used for about a minute and half, you'll love em............................! will only fit size 26.5.
  18. I thought I posted this in December, But I guess not. So here she goes......... I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to ride the Gecko plate from APEX earlier this season, with probably the best conditions to test the Gecko. After a whole day of rain then a deep freeze overnight the snow/ice set up like concrete in the Sahara desert. It performed as well as full iso plate, but it gave me more feel than a full iso or semi iso plate would. I actually prefer the Gecko over other plate systems on a boiler plate day like I had during my test day. The Gecko gave me a direct feeling to the snow, while offering some suspension and most importantly still letting the board flex naturally without any flat spots or kinks. As many of you carving experts know, kinking the board will cause chatter, especially on ice and the Gecko excels in icy conditions. There was no need to try it again as the conditions improved throughout the year, I knew how it performed on boiler plate ice and that was enough for me to want one. When it was unveiled last spring I knew it would work, Do what it was designed to do and I was confident that APEX would manufacturer it with world class quality and craftsmanship like their other products. I highly recommend it to be used for lighter riders, wanting to step up their game, and heavier riders looking to fill that void between a full iso plate or semi iso plate. We put it under the feet of various riders throughout the season. Light males and females, Heavy and Real Heavy male riders/racers, and everyone benifited from the Gecko plate. So call Henry at Apex and order one, its worth the money. Henry's customer service is awesome, just like 90% of this industry. Thanks for your time ! Joe Culgin (AKA) MR. JOHN DEERE ! (AKA) BIG DUKE 6 P.S Did I set a world record using the abbreviation iso ?? The APEX carbon fiber Vist mounting disk review to come soon. real short for now ( I like it allot )
  19. I must say................................great day at Loon on Saturday. Love when Motha nature throws in some bonus days late in the season !!! Even better riding with the OLD team !!!! I think our new official color should be grey though ? Sunday was also a good one, Little Duke 6 and I were taking laps on Sunset/ Lower Flume until 12:30, we had the trail to ourselves. She was bumping the whole time on skiers left, while Big Duke 6 was excavating trenches on skiers right without a dig safe permit !! What's up for this upcoming weekend ? I'll tell you whats up you MF's, the 3rd annual White Trash party at my buddies house Saturday afternoon over at Clear Brook not held in Lynn, MA anymore. I don't think I've ever been there with a T32 member before, its definatly our kind of gig. Plenty of parking for Coach Creepmans Van, and a couple 1/2 tons with just under 12 liters of fuel guzzling HP !!!! DTH & GFYS !!!
  20. What channel are we using on the handle saturday morning ? I'll be calling at 8:30 sharp, looking for your 20..................OVA !!!
  21. I'll send Gleb a text. I have already requested air space for the T32 drone with Ralph Lewis, he said NFW and TGFM. But when have we ever listened to authority at that place ?!?!?! Its been a while since any filming has been done. Dress code requirements for the film, grey or greying beard !!!! GFY's P.S We won the Fukkin Super Bowl yet AGAIN !!!!!!!!
  22. Guy , we all have to do a better job of checking in before the weekends. If I had known you were coming up, I wouldn't have skied. I know, I skied...................I felt like a shmuck ! See da ting is, is I was in the BAH, way ova served, and some of the guys from my heli trip asked me If I wanted to hike Black Mountain with them the next morning, which seemed like a good idea as i was cross eyes and drooling on myself. Turns out, NOT worth it. I have never been so happy to see Brookway in my life. I actually kneeled down and kissed the snow when we finally made it out. Anyways rumor is Chappy is NOT coaching this weekend. So its on for Saturday, I'll catch up with you guys on the NPQ around 8:30. I have to drop of Mack at the LRT at 8:15. GFY's
  23. Guy, I saw you chargin down the flume yesterday morning at 8:10 !! You looked like a junkie on the prowl for your next fix or you were trying to outrun the cops after you lit up that Donkey at the top of the North Peak HSQ !!!
