sun: barely groom: soft, no f2 today, lots of mushy piles all over the place, no groom on spillway,richards closed til' 11 for race practice, deep( for a carve board) on drifter, flat light everywhere weather: January but 10 degress warmer and a little less windy crowds: kook-o-rama fest every where comments: Pete and I pissed off the full-faced jibberator by leaving some deep trenches in the park ( you know the guy , yellow jacket, fullfaced helmet, pops out of the woods by reload without looking, sideslips everything off of one) ironically, he said we where ruining the terrain park. Gave me a giggle or two, and I ran into woodwork money in the parking lot. He broke his ribs the first day he tried carving, and decided to stay on soft gear for the rest of the winter, still wants to try carving, most likely next season bottom line: not much was missed, see you next weekend! mario

I was in providence for my nieces graduation( turn left at the dunkin donuts ya cant miss it) last may and I was listening to an awesome alternative station while I was there. I miss the east coast music scene, we have a great college station out of cu, unfortunately it is am. Every other radio station is owned by clear channel and afraid to take chances. Thank goodness for fungus 53, though that gets repetitve after awhile. Xmu is cool as well as ethel, fred and lucy when I am feeling nostalgic. mario

I bought 2 used boards off of the classifieds here a few years ago, a FCII Donek and a Rennetiger, both leaning the to higher end of the preformance spectrum, both 2 seasons old for about 175 each. You do not need to spend a fortune to get on newer technology from smaller manufacturers, leave the burton stuff to the resellers on ebay. mario
