You are right and only heel bail is different and toe is the same. I believe 50mm only runs with NW and all other boots utilizes 53mm. Upz won’t fit into 50mm

I tried all springs and blue was too soft and yellow was too stiff for y liking but combo of World Cup tongue and red spring did the job for me!! I do have quite a bit of forward lean on rear boots.

For me, I like stiffer tongue in the rear foot bc before I had stiffer tongue, the longest buckle wire by the ankle joint was snapping out of place from stopper on the tongue when boot flexed forward. With stiffer tongue, it does not flex as much forward and Longest buckle wire stayed put with stiff tongue. ..... if that make sense?? Also, softer flex at the front is more comfortable for my legs.... haha

This is definitely true. I have 100 stiff but got a World Cup tongue on rear boots. I also have all the stiffness of spring (blue, red, and yellow) but I am most comfortable with reds.

Looks like Mountain Slope and Deeluxe had baby together I wish they would have kept the spring system of MS as it is the easiest/best spring system compared to UPZ or Deeluxe in terms of adjusting it. new equipment is ALWAYS GOOD for the niche sports like ours and push other manufactures to innovate. Knock off? Maybe/maybe not but if people say this boot is a knockoff then SG binding is a knockoff of F2 binding? I love my SG bindings which incorporates better material and adjustability than F2 bindings. The best binding I used under my feet. Perhaps this boots can be as good as MS? I guess we will find out .....

I have tried so many set ups with lift and cant but it seems like I don’t like any canting but just toe and heel lift. I do have canting on my boots as I had pressure point.

He man, if you are talking about the area around chair 3, that lift is not working but has short bus that goes from chair 3/beginner area to the Chet’s dream (main ski area) i know I will be there on Sat and Sun! Unless it is mad traffic....

I am glad you are enjoying NM! At ski Santa Fe, open slope and Broadway was one of my fav place to carve. I also love Gayway as it has awesome view.

Last time couple of us went on Sat (that weekend had NASTAR event) and the crowds was not much at all. I bet on non event Saturday would be no crowds. But the lifts are slow and old. The food at the bar is descent though!

SG is one size fits all. Version 1 of SG binding is harder to change size as you have to take apart the bails but Version 2 has extra mounting hole for bail and much easier to switch from smaller size to larger size ( there are only 2 sizes in SG binding). But the base of the bindings are same sizes between smaller size to larger size. not sure which version you have.

Cants and lifts are same set up as F2. But there is one more set than F2. When you buy F2, you. An only do heel lift or toe lift AND inward can’t or outward can’t. SG have 2 sets of lifts (can do both toe and heel lift) and 2 sets of cants.

As far as I know SG binding is not intec compatible. The bolt to hold down the bail goes opposite ways compared to F2 Not sure what you exactly mean by “toe and heel blocks and bails are the same?” ... but toe and heel blocks are not the same just like f2. disclaimer: I got 2 pairs of SG bindings

The day was great with never ending wind and the sun. We had Jordan, Scott, Joe, and myself were in presence at Loveland. Weather prediction said 0-1" of snow yesterday but it was sunny day throughout but high wind at the top of Ptarmigan and Chair 6. Jordan and myself went right away to Ptarmigan from Chair 1 to get some carving under the sun. The condition was one of the best this year with nicely packed snow. In addition, Firecut run was groomed so it made a nice time for great carving from the top of Ptarmigan. Jordan and I got separated after some more runs through Firecut so I made it over to Roulette. I hardly saw anyone on Roulette and max waiting time was 1 minute before I got empty run. I must have been the only carver on Roulette for 8-9 runs. The runs were smooth and hard without any trenches LOL. I hope Jordan, Scott and Joe had fun day at the slope!! Have a safe trip to Montana for everyone who went!
