...just checked the website again and for now the races won't happen unless they get a foot of snow before the weekend. They'll make a final decision on Friday.

...you might want to check the north shore series website before you drive to donner. Looks like the Sunday race might not happen and they changed the Saturday race to be a slalom. If snow levels don't come down they might have to scrap the race on Sat. as well. ...seems like that happens every year to the early races. Good luck, Hagen.

I guess the big no-no that people is more related to reaching for the snow. ...and yes, then there are also the purists that don't want you to touch the snow at all.

...may be I got the cheap version?! But I'm 100% sure that they stick... ...the board came with some bigger magnetic stickers on it when I bought it. But they didn't hold that well - I lost those before I had to retire the board.

...don't know anything about aggression snowboards. But I know that my Volant is made of steel - otherwise the magnetic poetry wouldn't stick to it. Only problem with my Volant is that it delams and it's not fixable - was fun to ride though...

Every so often I make it to the south shore - did some usasa races in Sierra last year. Kirkwood is great for day trips... ...but I'm mostly riding north shore (the inlaws have a cabin in Truckee ). And yes, I got married up there - close to Sugarbowl. And yes, I know that guy that used to post a lot here... Hi Randy (in case you are still reading here...). I also try to ride with him when I'm up there - see his back a lot. His style of carving is pretty much streight lining it with some edge changes. :D ...and yes, he usually beats me at the races... :(
