  1. If all goes as planned and I remain in good health, I'm in for my 7th SES. About six weeks away and I'm already losin' sleep in anticipation:biggthump
  2. I have some Raichles AF 600, not sure what year. Where in CT are you? I'm in Fairfield. Can't get to my email right now. I can send images if you are interested. JC
  3. Boat= A hole in the water into which your money sinks:)
  4. Very good condition, SkiMD tuned and the flex is reputed to be stiff. $200 plus shipping
  5. I'm thinking, if it were to alternate between Sugarloaf and Stratton, I would go just every other year(to Stratton). But I say that now nearing the end of the season. In October I may be thinking too much isn't enough
  6. I can't focus on my job. The kids are going hungry, the pets too. Even though the hills in CT have twice the base depth of 3/4 of the Aspen mtns., I am VERY excited:biggthump See you all in Aspen JC

    Head trauma

The foam in the helmet compacts on impact and no longer offers the same level of protection as when new
  8. After having spent last season solely on metal equipped boards, I rode my fiberglass filled board for a day last week. I had no regrets and a very good time. A little more roughness in the ride quality but nothing your skills won't overcome with ease. I would think that the difference in the board's design criteria will create more difference than the material used to build them. Enjoy
  9. always worth going to bomber:1luvu:
  10. I just ordered the package for my sixth SES. A little more than eight weeks:biggthump to go.
  11. Best wishes and good luck to the three of you.
  12. Hey, Johnasmo. Your reputation as a star continues to grow:) Be careful out there. JC
  13. Thanks for the additional info in your edit; it answered all my remaining ?'s JC
  14. I am wondering if someone could tell me what size buckle goes where on the boot? This mod looks tempting. Thanks, JC
  15. I was planning on going, but with the rain and me being sick, can't:barf: do it:(
  16. I thought this when I first met Paul and saw him in action. He's good on the hill too:biggthump

    Floor Space

is about 70% open but I don't expect that to last very long with the weather that is predicted. Lots of brown snow. And exposed rock that I didn't see until almost on top of it. I didn't hit any rock but I had to first go slow and scope the trail and on the next run I was able to rip it up and avoid the rock. Very mushy today, but I like snow in any form. Huge areas of slush that will never be snow again. Maybe about 50 people on the hill today and that was very nice. Bring a rock board if you go. I was going to try and ride there again next week but after today I don't think the conditions will justify the six hours of driving.
  18. Mohawk has free lift tickets that day. Brings new meaning to the word "Freecarve":)Mount Slow on 3/20 for some bigger turns.
  19. weeks off. Hey John, VERY bummed to hear about your mishap. With all the vertical you rack up you can afford to take two off:biggthump. I hope all your discomfort is short lived. P.S. Now that you and dredman are SES rock stars I hope you will still find me worthy as a roomie:)
  20. I have a small two bedroom condo for the SES week with four twin beds. Located in Aspen. Dredman and Johnasmo are occupying one of the rooms and I have an unoccupied bed in the room in which I will be staying. Your welcome to join us but be warned that my wife complains of my snoring:sleep: Only $80 USD per night. Contact me through BOL if you are interested. JC
  21. Qq, I had the chance to hang with these guys at last years SES and they are a good group. Their location is excellent and I'm sure that you will have no regrets if you take Dan up on his offer. JC
