    Donek FC 1 163

Excellent shape. Base and edges look great. A few minor nicks on the top sheet. Built in 2003, 18 CM waist, SCR of 10. It's been sitting in my garage unused for several years. Asking $200 + shipping. No, the bindings ARE NOT included I also have a Nidecker GS 170 in good shape for $150. Guessing it's from around 2005. Neither board has been ridden in several years.
  2. I will be bringing two boards to sell - a 163 Donek Freecarve 1 and a 170 Nidecker GS. Both boards are in good to very good condition.
  3. no love for the Speed Triple? I own a Multistrada 1000DS(tall ugly cousin of the Monster) and a Triumph Sprint ST (sport touring cousin of the S3) and if I could only have one it would be the Triumph. Fraction of the maintenance cost, great engine, great sound, trouble free. I've got over 25K on both bikes and while the Multi is an amazing bike my next bike will be a Triumph Street Triple (675). Unless I can swing a KTM Super Duke...but that's a whole other story...
  4. march is usually the best month of the year and this has been a stellar year. given the fact that they got about 2 feet in the past 5 days conditions are as good as they get ... just watch the weather.

  6. Going out to CO Jan 8-12 with my 20 year old son to visit his 24 year old brother who lives in Denver. He has the CO pass so we will hit Breck, Abasin, and Keystone. Would like to stay in a 2 bedroom condo. Doing a Google search yields billions of results. Anyone have any recommendations? Lift ticket tips? Trying to keep costs down. Thanks, Cliff
  7. nice board, built 01/2002, well used but still plenty of life left in it. base, edges, and tops sheet in very good shape, very well cared for. $150 shipped domestically. update: board has been sold
  8. still available and no interest in the 182 GS but thanks anyway
  9. still available - willing to trade for something interesting of equal quality - let's move this board - I rode it once all last year, it's gathering dust

  15. FC all the way. I'm a fan of the FC1's personally (18 cm). Either way - they are great boards - classics really, and very very durable. The Blade was designed for some euro types that do that euro carve thing...that's not the way we roll onthis side of the pond
  16. The Nidecker 170 is a great board IMO and new ones can be had for a very reasonable price if you search ebay. They are on the lively side which I prefer to what I feel are overly damp Priors. For east coast trails boards around 170 are perfect IMO. I've never been comfortable with the speed and space I need with longer boards on our narrower trails and there's a HUGE difference between a Nidecker 170 and a Prior WCR 181. You better be on your game all the time with the Prior . Maybe for better riders this would not be an issue but I've got a WCR 175 for sale right now because I just can't ride it - too much board for me. But like anything else - it's best to ride before you buy if you can.

    Prior WCR 175

Prior WCR 175, 19.5cm waist, 11.9 m side cut, excellent condition. I rode it 3 very short days, owner before me barely rode it as well. Practically new. $350 shipped (US)
  18. 1 - fill in your profile; where are you from, where do you ride 2 - hopefully you've reviewed http://www.bomberonline.com/articles/welcome_center.cfm 3 - if you can get to the Starting Gate by Stratton they should be able to set you up with demo equipment. Ask for Shaun. That's the only place I know of where you can demo everything. I highly recommend going to the Starting Gate and getting fitted properly for a pair of boots as this is the single most important element of your set up. Depending on your budget you can pick up used stuff off the board or on ebay or go new. Just browse around the forums - there's plenty of discussion on every subject under the sun. Just don't get a full bore race board to learn on like I tried to do!
