  1. Me, always. I typically get it in 4, sometimes 3.
  2. I think your first word choice depends on whether you are playing on hard mode or not. Or at least I read that the strategy is different.
  3. I play it occasionally and usually go with irate.
  4. Yeah, that’s South Divide, super carving there when it’s groomed. Old farts like me call it Brewster.
  5. How is that Delirium? Looks like you were under Angel chair.
  6. I got caught by the same "for kids" thing. It gives you that option, and you think "sure, there's nothing in here that kids can't see", without being aware of all the restrictions that imposes.
  7. Weird, image search came up goose-egg for me.
  8. Falcon Chair, I think. @st_lupo, I don't get the reference.
  9. Looks great, James! I think the steepest I’ve carved is that one section of North Axe at Nakiska but I don’t think it’s 33 degrees there. It’s hard to not let the speed get away from you.
  10. If you feel the need to add a comment, you should ask yourself whether that could better be addressed by better naming practices or refactoring your code into more understandable chunks. Comments are definitely necessary from time to time but the old school requirements of commenting the hell out of everything have been replaced by clean coding practices.
  11. Good code has hardly any comments at all.
  12. Curious to see how high it goes, $540 already with 6 days to go.
  13. I want to hear a report on the Pocket Rocket. Full rockered 129 with a 30 cm+ waist?
  14. Could be the inserts you are using have pulled up a little bit. Had that happen on my old Tanker.
  15. I think to progress past what the Custom X offers you should be looking closely at sidecut radius. Your 158 has a sidecut radius under 8m. That's pretty limiting if you are able to generate good pressure to the edge. To progress I'd look at something in the 10m range.
  16. The only relevance height has is related to stance width. Maybe at 6’9” he needs a wider insert pack but odds are the stock ones will work. The inputs to the board involve weight and strength.
  17. Surgeon says no high impact activities until at least 6 months, fully healed 1 year. I reckon I’m an idiot if I don’t follow his instructions.
  18. Thanks, Paul. Had a checkup with my surgeon today and he said I am doing exceptionally well, so that was very encouraging.
  19. Just to let everyone know, I had my hip replaced on Nov 22 and it went about as well as it possibly could. I’m following my post surgery instructions as closely as possible and already can walk smoothly without assistance. I mostly use a cane as the leg tires quickly and needs some support, with it I can walk a km or so before I feel I have done too much. This season is toast but I should be good to go next year.
  20. My Flagship is 8.3 I think. The downside/upside (depending on how you look at it) of a shorter sidecut is that if you pressure the edge with any authority it comes around RFN. It’s ok just tipping it over gently but I need to spend some more time with it to get the best out of it. For those of us who like to go fast and not necessarily be turning uphill all the time a longer sidecut is better.
  21. Throttle House is great and getting better with every video they put out. Their latest review of the electric 7 series BMW is a hoot. I have no idea how they keep getting these expensive cars to review when they call it exactly as they see it, good and bad. Also they are Canadian, even if they are from Toronto.
  22. Ford beat Chevy to the punch with the flat plane crank in the Shelby GT350 a few years ago. Hopefully Chevy isn’t having the same oil consumption issues Ford had.
  23. Nice looking C5! Love the Cobra too.
