  1. If you can Angie, come to Copper on the 28th or any time that week to ride with some of the beantown bombers T32 Metal Malitia. 28th should have the most riders that week. Ink I know Mario, Threadjack, but informing is half the battle to get more riders out on a fun day.
  2. Concussed and I will be in attendance again this year. Maybe even KarverKai if he is ready for the big hill by then. Ink Sorry Monodude, that you will be in Europe at that time.
  3. See this thread http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=23766 As we plan more we will post the info. Ink Oh, not soon but will be well worth the drive. :)

    Yo Lci!!

Umm, The 16th is Friday so that would make Saturday the 17th. I will let you know about catching a ride with you. Ink
  5. Hey Angie, My work is holding that promotion right now also, except my day off is Monday. Sorry to hear about this from a money standpoint but definately good for the riding. Concussed and I had to suffer in over a foot of new at Lovey yesterday. I was sad to not be working. :) Ink
  6. Change plans if you can. Copper will be going off while these guys are in town. Some called it their home mtn while in CO so the good times and good lines will be flowing. Not to mention a LOT of beer. JD, I may be a little late on the 28th due to dropping off KarverKai at school. I will try to get out on Friday also but Concussed will be out of town so we will see about that later. Ink
  7. Quote from the FAQ page: Q: What is it made of? A: The board (OVH) is made of wool, plastic, steel edges and carbon composite. No dampening rubber sheet is added because of the spider back suspensions (SBS) takes care of all chatters. The SBS is constructed with carbon composite. Mmmm, must be warm on a cold day with that wool inside. Ink
  8. That's a great one!! Love the action and the boss tunage. Who is the rider? He looks familiar but I can't place him. Ink
  9. One man is how he can build such a beautiful board. If there were more hands in the mix there would me more chances of mistakes being made. Ink
  10. Way To Go Darren and Dustin! I was cheerin' for our CO crew even though I couldn't make it out. Keep up the great riding. Ink

    Yo Lci!!

AC, Sorry we didn't meet up. Concussed had some friends out with us so I ended up riding with them. The day was AWESOME to say the least. The trees off of 1 were so good that it was difficult to leave. Lovey posted 5.5" yesterday and it was easily above my boot in most places and sections that blew in were way above boot top. I used Tony's Dynastar the Legend 174 split tail and had a ball. I could have been a little better with the stance moved back slightly but no complaints from here. Thanks Tony! Till next time, Ink
  12. Go see Bola at All Boards Sports in Boulder then schedule a session with Larry's Boot Fitting, also in Boulder, to get it all set up correctly. Even if you don't get boots from Bola, go to Larry with whatever you end up with for finishing touches. Ink

    Yo Lci!!

All the riders were Killin' it. Great fun. Ink AC, Concussed and I will be getting to Lovey around 10am after dropping KarverKai at school. Softies will be on the feet. Ink
  14. JustK, Good to meet and ride with you yesterday. Keep up the good riding and remember to look where you want to go and relax your upper body. If you look down the fall line that is where you will go...quickly. If you bring the board more across the hill it will keep your speed more in check without having to skid the turns. Till next time, Ink
  15. I won't be making it to the hill on Sunday. Ink
  16. Not sure yet about sunday for me but D.T. and Shelly are usually out on sundays since Shelly doesn't have to work. Lovey that is. Ink
  17. Good shot Ray! I've seen you make good "race" style carves back in the OTFS days. Ink
  18. Yeah, I remember the first time I took hold of the FCII that had edges about as sharp as a 2x4. It is sharp now I tell ya. Ink

    Yo Lci!!

Now no BoD meeting so I may be cashing in the invite for a lift to the hill. I will let you know tomorrow. Thanks for the offer. Ink
  20. Tom, Great to hear that you may be joining us as well! Location and time has yet to be determined and will be posted closer to the ride day. I do know that it will be a fast and furious day of laughter and fun. Ink
  21. WTF?!? Stand on the board and what happens - IT DECAMBERS. Inclinate the board while riding and what happens - IT DECAMBERS. Doh, Ink
  22. Are you coming into my backyard for the second year in a row and not getting in touch with me again?!? Contact me through my email in my profile since yours isn't enabled. Ink (Derek Runes)
  23. I have the 28th to ride also and will see about another day as well. Ink
  24. Ok, I did this type of tuning probably between 8-12 yrs ago while I was racing. Depending on course conditions it can help to either engage quickly or delay the engagement of the nose. As for the tail, this type of tuning can allow you to slide the top of the turn before engagement to control speed and release out of turns easier. I would even change the side edge bevel to adjust for the increased base bevel. I only did this when racing. Now that I am a civilian rider I tune the same contact to contact points and it works well for me. Ink
