Razors Edge closed for racing Friday-Saturday-Sunday
-
Not really sure what your question is, but OS1's had 2 different Kingpin diameters, 10mm & 12mm. From memory, I think the 10mm takes a 6mm Allen Wrench & the 12mm takes a 8mm Allen Wrench.

retronaut, I was told it had 1 Grind / Structure. Plenty of edges left (looks like new to me) I'll do my best to get pictures posted ASAP.

Waist on Coiler measures 20. It was built for a member of the Womens Canadian Race Team, hence the Olympic Tune, so would say made for a lighter rider. It has the Titanal Topsheet (that I hand polished) and always used Polycarbonate Spacers under bindings that I will include with sale if desired.

Just had to say "Something Nice" about Blue (for a change)

IceCoast, I just sent you an email of something that 'may' be of interest? I'll be posting it for sale as soon as I get pictures and figure out how to post them on the For Sale board.

Anybody have a Donek 179 FC1 they are looking to unload ?
-
-
Jon, gotta ask, does your "new to you 180 Donek Tucker" have the 17 waist ?

Mobbed
today by 10 AM !!! How you guys ride on a weekend, I have NO idea (More power to you). If you don't have a Season Pass, you may want to save your money for a BTS instead of getting mugged @ Blue? I'm ready for SKES :D..............Good Luck
-
NickG, sorry :( I didn't get a chance to introduce myself better and ride with you Thursday, had to get to work...... I try to get there for first tracks whenever possible.
-
How can you ride without
Speed Bumps in the grooming ??
-
hockey2, by all means
, If it feels good DO IT ! Personally I couldn't even ride without it.

*Ace*, Awesome Idea
. While I am NOT an Engineer, my industrial experience tells me the 'Locking Ball' will NOT be a problem if designed properly. I also don't see any advantage though over a Catek, maybe more angle, but how many need more? Heavy Duty for sure, Good Luck with it!

Wimmen, always thinking about wardrobe & 'style' :). Obviously the pants match the Prior, sweater the Donek, and helmet the Coiler.
You must have the patience of a Saint to put up with the crowded slopes and horrendous lift lines :D
-
Erik J, where (town) is Mt. Peter located, 'top notch groom' would be nice for a change :)

today & tomorrow for racing.

Cuban Carving Gooding, where's the
curbing? How can you stay in your own lane
without curbs??
That's not how they do :( it in Transylvania.....
-
Bought one for a western trip after reading the airlines waivers. It is a nice piece, but the Airline Gorillas managed to dent it, poke a hole in it and destroy the TSA Cable Lock the first trip
!

photodad2001, " I'm telling you carvers are growing in number. I know 2 of the instructors at my hill carve and I've seen at least 7 different guys out there this year and still haven't ran into some of the guys from last year I saw. There's a storm a brewin'. When we get more and more guys going cross slope these incidents are going to start to pile up and resorts are going to feel the need to do something about it."
Have to agree with you, be it on ski's or boards, more and more people getting into turning and Carving :).
I'm seeing some 'sweet turns' at the local hill. Resorts have Parks, Pipes, and SLOW areas, why not have a Carving Area?
One trail marked for 'Turning & Carving ONLY,
No Straightliners'.
Send the Straightliners to the Tubing Lanes where they have less chance of making any turns
and can be less dangerous to others.

Any chance I can bribe the groomers
with beer?
-
NickG ("I always try to find something positive haha") Stay that way :) so you don't end up a Grumpy Ole Bastid
like me.
Head Stratos Pro Dealers in tri-state area

eastcoastrider, I didn't look up Waterford,Pa., but you'd be more than welcome to try my boots on for size & fit. They are Head Stratos 27.5. I ride Blue Mtn. and work in Breinigsville, Pa. If that would help. Don't skimp on boots and get the right size the first time & you'll be happy :).
