  1. And yet you guys still can't figure out why there's no girls on this forum. HMMMMMM

Hey, I got it from Ais

No football here AMK. Just got a delivery from Bruce :1luvu: and it's all I can think about, let along talk about !

  2. 'Maybe the girls don't want to "hang out" on BOL because it is such a male dominated sport, or maybe they want to talk about something else besides snowboarding once in a while!'

    What else is there ?

    Oh that's right :eek:Boobies, I forgot..........

  3. 2005  then just get him a new car :) with remote starter from the factory :D. Hey,couldn't hurt to try, us 'good guys' gotta stick together too, ya know :biggthump............

Seriously though, most of the Installation places around here will sell you a Gift Certificate for the Alarm & Installation. Yes they may be more expensive than the ones you can get from the guy off the street, but whomever is doing the installation 'should' have the experience to know a good system & stand behind it. Some vehicles are a real PIA, and not really worthwhile, Voids Warranty, etc, etc. Best to go to a 'reputable' installation shop and ask their experience on the particular vehicle. I'd recommend even checking with the Manufacturers Dealer so there are no 'surprises' down the road.

  4. Holy Crap, boards stolen in Colorado, Scotland and UK

I remember the first time this Ice Coaster came out west and had a cable lock on my 'ski's', everyone looked at me like I had four eyes and was from New Jersey or New york :D.

No one locked their stuff, except me. Now it sounds as bad there as it is here.

One thing I felt, with a custom topsheet, it would be a one of a kind and easy to spot. I guess that don't do much good IF it is hanging on somebody's wall.

There are indeed, some sorry excuses of people in existence I guess.

  5. Thank You Fin, for saying (writing it)!

"The way I figure it this great group of alpine snowboard manufactures are really good at what they do, and I certainly do not have the ability to second guess their design much less try to modify it."

This has been my contention from the beginning. That is not to say anything can not be made better, as the plates 'may' do (personally, I'm a believer). But to think what will happen when the builders start releasing a board that is designed to work with a plate  as a Total System, should be Scary ( in a real :biggthump Sweet Way) !!

  6. Thanks, fin & marty . After researching Carbon Fiber, I just feel 'more comfortable' with the aluminum, so ordered the 7075-T6 from onlinemetals as you suggested.

This will be my final effort as this project is already 'in the red'. I can't even imagine the time and resources  that go into developement of products for re-sale!

  7. bonzo, I'm going to 'stick my neck out' here :freak3: (as usual) but here goes. I'll start wearing my boots around the house a month or so beforehand to acclimate them and my feet. I've done it with ski boots and my alpine boots, and have always been extremely :) lucky with fit & feel!

I would recommend only snugging them up loosely in the beginning to let the new liner form to your feet. When the time comes, wear them where they feel comfortable.

I hope you have as good of luck as I have with the Head's :biggthump
