Chubz, Confirmed, Wednesday (3-10-10) it was surprisingly good :D from opening till 10:30 or so. Then started to soften up & get ugly but still rode with Glenn until 12:30-1 PM.
Pray for some Colder Temperatures, or we're done :(. Sorry guys, I even washed my car, it didn't work this time
-
"PS: jp1 don't get your hopes up on the steps, they ripped them out yesterday."
That figures, I mounted bindings on the FP just for them, oh well, mini bmes in morning..........

I'll be there Wednesday for first tracks, may even bring out the FP and do 'the steps' !

voysey, I couldn't possibly say enough good things about the LCI & Loveland
. I'm seriously considering going back (but don't tell anybody ;) I'm not suppose to say anything, they don't want that NJ riff-raff coming out there) at the beginning of next season (early December).
When I find a good thing I stick with it !

I just got an email from a friend that Blue Mtn. will be closing for the season on 3-21-10 :(
I hope this isn't true, maybe gman2010 can confirm if this is fact
-
gman2010, please email me when you get a chance, jp1.

Glad someone gets to see it, Direct TV has blessed me with 'Men's Curdling'

Rys, "I will there shortly before noonish..."
NOONISH ? You need to get up 5 hours earlier is all
. Seriously man do whatever (leave a day early) it takes to get the 'good stuff'..........It WILL be worth the sacrifice.

Chubz, "I use to be able to ship a standard board for about $15", Greg, FYI, that ain't happening ! I shipped the Coiler from NJ to Co today it cost $38.00
for UPS Ground. They wanted almost $70 for 3 Day. YIKES
is right.

Y'all owe me a dollar! I knew if I washed my car today it would snow ! It's only fair we all chip in .

I'm not positive of year (someone else probably knows by colors?) but believe it 's either a 2004 or 2005. I measured the Camber at 1/2".

Have a co-worker that rides Magna Traction and swears by it! Did you keep it under $400? Good Luck, if she likes it half as much as my friend you'll be a hero
-
emorris, a friend that I ride with (60 something) at Blue broke his leg in mid December, doc told him the same thing. The first day he was suppose to be at therapy he was at Blue!! When he went back to doc for follow up
doc said I haven't heard anything from therapy yet
but it looks great, whatever you're doing keep doing it
.
I told him to save his used lift tickets and turn them in to his insurance company.
Lift Ticket $29, Therapy $80/session, look at all the $$ he's saving the insurance company!

Some will say, "they can't hurt", others will say, "they will affect the performance of the board". Personally I would ask Sean (at Donek) his recommendation. I believe most of the issues were with Metal Topsheet Boards depending on what type bindings were being used. Many were using 3/16" to 1/4" Polycarbonate to make their own. A 'search' will probably provide a pattern for you if you want to make your own. They are also commercially available, I know Catek had them available.
Hope that helps.
