  1. Well, I swore I'd NEVER go back there BUT, I have a weekend off and BM is closed & I see CB is offering $25 tickets so :freak3::confused: ??

Maybe, if anyone else is heading up? Does anyone know IF they are still doing the Free Pass offer to anyone with a Season Pass from another Pa. ski area?

Is it even woth going? I'm 'hard-up' to ride, but not sure if I'm that 'hard-up' ??

  2. shawndoggy, if the mount worked good for 2 years, I'd guess that the adhesive on the tape just deteriorated over time.

What I have always had good luck with as an adhesive is Silicone Sealer (as in GE Bathtub Caulk type silicone).

Scrape or peel off the existing double sided tape on the mount you want to use and clean the mount and the area on the board you wish to mount it to thoroughly (I like Lacquer Thinner for this).

Apply a liberal amount of Silicone Sealer to the mount, set it in place and wait at least 24 hours for it to set up.

Some nice things about Silicone Sealer are, you can build it up thick enough to make up for any inconsistencies in shape between the mount and the board, the Silicone Sealer acts as an isolator between the board and the mount, and it can be removed easily if necessary, using a fishing line to cut it off then either thinner or just aggressively rubbing the sealer off with your thumbs.

    Works for me............:)

  3. Ace, Excellent Ideas!

I was thinking about using a 'powder strap' (bright orange plastic Surveyors Tape) secured to camera, folded up and held to camera loosly with a rubber band (attach to the board with a small piece of Duct Tape). If the camera took off it 'should' leave the powder strap unraveled behind it to more easily find ??

  4. neuroto, I tried the suction cup, but only got 1:06 :( until everything 'laid over'. That was the best view I have found so far :) so will try (if their is any snow left after this weekend) siliconing a mount on the front and back of my 'rock board' and try again. Season is about done here :( unfortunately.

Rocker_Binding, Ace is right, Cateks on Gizmo's.
