  1. 1 pair RAB with an extra set of springs. $20 shipped.
  2. The January Thaw" has been happening every year for at least 10-15 years now, I've been keeping mental track. You'd think I would have accepted it by now, but it never fails to disappoint. January thaws have been happening for a lot more than 10-15 years.
  3. Official Austria Snowboard Team jacket manufactured in Italy by Anzi Besson to team specifications. Size 50. Jacket is preowned, but in excellent shape with no tears, rips or stains. Well made, warm jacket with hood, powder skirt and multiple pockets. Emblazoned with team sponsor logos. Not available for retail sale. $150 + $20 shipping.
  4. Snowperformance summer camps are ski only.
  5. I've been half a dozen times. Not to worry about a freeride vs race focus as both are on offer. The camps are well organized and offer quality instruction in small groups. Recommend.
  6. On the left is a Virus UFC 173 Carbon with an MK Plate from Slovenia. At right is an Apex Fast + 186 GS with Apex Board on Board Plate. Both have exceeded my expectations.
  7. For the past few years, I have been in the habit of ending the season with a trip to Mammoth during the first week of April. While I am aware of the fact that much can happen in a month, Mammoth has just not been looking splendid and I am wary of its promise for April. That said, Mt. Bachelor and Alyeska both have enormous base numbers. Any suggestions or comments on the suitablility of these during that time frame? Thanks.
  8. Is that a hunch or based on any meteorological data? Everything I've read points to a continuation of the warm/cold seesaw we have seen thus far.
  9. Just returned from the liquor store in anticipation of tomorrow evening's festivities. Villmart and Cie Grand Cellier Brut 2006 Bouchard Corton-Charlemagne 2007 Susana Balbo Nosotros
  10. The boards are being made in Quebec and more data will be available in the fall. The only retail shop that I know of at this point will be at Mt. St. Saveur in Quebec, but a more complete list will be available soon.
  11. Perhaps you should have made your pricepoint clear from the getgo instead of "name your price", don't ya think? There is a set of ancient F2's for sale here that might meet your needs. Good luck.
  12. I have a set in excellent shape. $150 + $10 shipping.
  13. It isn't much of a stretch to suggest that Boston would give you the most variety of any of the East-coast cities listed. Within a reasonable drive you would have access to all of northern New England, the Adirondacks and Quebec, the sum total of which represents the best skiing and riding east of the Mississippi.
  14. The channel isn't particularly deep. They refer to this as "Absorbing Nose Technology" and suggest that it assists with absorption of shock. Can't speak for its efficacy yet.
  15. Seb's explanation makes sense and is quite practical, but doing it under the guise of respecting snowboard culture is just laughable. Those sissy suits aren't CORE dude.
  16. ".....respecting the culture of snowboarding." So we can expect future races to be conducted with participants exposing their buttocks, getting high in the starting area and dragging their Kesslers across the parking lot en route to the venue?
  17. www.tomahawksnowboards@hotmail.com Best time to place an order is late summer/early fall.
  18. I second the suggestion for Tomahawk. Excellent product, quality and customer service.
