  1. Once again I am on the Cities 97 Sampler quest. I need just one. Target is not supplying it here in Rochester so I was wondering if someone could grab it for me. Cost of the CD plus a 12 pack. Thanks! Kenton
  2. And something that looks like a bobcat curled up on the bedroom floor.........
  3. Doug, I have a 101 with size 1 boots sitting in my closet if you wan't to borrow it. Let me know, I will be at Buck each weekend. Kenton
  4. Hopefully the conditions will be better for this one. Maybe I can use my patented "chin stop" again this year.
  5. Yes, I have proven my age and have ridden with him and it was a blast. Loving life with Depends on and still riding hard.
  6. Take a deep breath, relax, the thin part of the thong is supposed to be in the back. This is a real situation for us in MN. Don't blame snow conditions on those riding soft set-ups. Many factors influence this. I ride softies quite a bit. Coaching, riding with my kids and I actually prefer them in pow. Does this mean according to you that I am not a TRUE hardbooter? Hopefully someday I will see the light. Go have a beer.
  7. Don't know how to attach a link from this forum because I am a dumba$$, but check out the Belch Village thread in the MN ride board. PLEASE do not email, call, etc. Belch/Welch regarding this as it is a fun place for us to ride.
  8. I wear womens panties and they feel good.
  9. MN waterfowl opened at 9 am today. My kids and I set up decoys last night and my son woke me up saying that the geese were flying. Walked across the road to the decoys and this bruiser was walking in them. Dinner is served.

Since I live the closest to Belch, I will test the waters down here and maybe even buy a season pass. I am feeling that after all these years of coaching that I may take some time off and just ride for myself for once. With all the crappy skiers and boarders there that are a risk plus all the ski teams who rut the hill (does Belch groom after they practice, not that I've seen), why are we an issue? You should see the skipee accident stats from their horribly designed park alone. I can't count the times that I went airborne from a gate rut with potential serious injury. Did I run to management because my thong was on backwards and I crashed because of a rut...........NOPE! I remember Trent getting smoked buy a skier from behind at one MES. Don't recall him running to the ski cops. Sorry if this was all over the place, but I worked 85 hours this week and am tired as hell. Can't wait to ride. Kenton
  12. Every year MN has the CWD warnings in the regs and I like you and Al and CC am careful with butchering deer. We had a story here a couple of years ago that someone died of CJD after eating at a game feed which included deer. This blew up into months of speculation and conjecture. Who knows what happened to him. I have a friend that hunts elk in CO and said that CWD has been there since the late sixties with no ill effects. I was out scouting ducks tonight (waterfowl opens on Saturday) and watched two eights chasing a doe. With the way the birds have been flying and what I saw tonight, it may be an early winter which translates into earlier riding. I have a management conference in Madison the end of January, maybe we could hook up at Tyrol? I didn't mean to threadjack this so back on topic. Good hunting to all! Kenton
  13. Strider, Don't know if you remember me, but I think it was you that knew my sister from UW-Madison. How bad is the CWD down in the Madison/Mt. Horeb area? Any fears on this at all? I have seen CJD (human form) a couple of times and it is pretty scary. Hunting has been pretty good here so far, have gotten two does and am patiently waiting for the 12 pointer that I have seen all summer. Early goose season has been the best I've seen in years. Can't wait for it to get cold so they really start flying. I was at Devils lake last weekend and the geese were all over the place...was longing for my 10 gauge. Anyway, happy hunting.
  14. I do 99% of my surfing on my work laptop and had to re-image it about one month ago due to the "blue screen of death". I haven't been logged in here since, and did not receive any email about a login failure. I was curious if those who did experience this are logged in all the time?

My computer crashed today and I need the link to the pics that Mike took from last seasons MNES. Can't remember where it was hosted. Thanks, Kenton
  18. Anyone see the Gerolistiner rider smoke the roundabout sign? Completely smoked his bike. Couldn't tell the frame material but it split his bike in half. You see some pretty dramatic crashes in "Le Tour" but this one looked like it really hurt.
  19. That would be the one. I still dont feel good that a 10 and 6 year old did better than me. Guess I will be staying up later at night to practice and open a can of whoop ass.:D:D:D:D
  20. I am not much of a video game person and I set play time limits for my kids but I thoroughly got my ass kicked today. Came home after an afternoon of fishing and they asked if I wanted to play TT Superbikes. Having ridden a few superbikes in my day I thought that I would do pretty well. I SUCKED!!!!!!!! My six year old daughter even beat me. Maybe I should start grooming her for my dirt track modified. Thank-god my community-ed knitting class starts next week.........more my speed!
  21. I didn't even know Blind Melon was still around. I moved from SoCal to Minneapolis and both music scenes were great. I now live in a small town in southern MN and it seems like the only thing around is country which is like nails on the chalkboard for me. No decent live shows ever hit close to me. Blue Oyster Cult played a free show in Rochester last weekend and it was like stepping back in time......I didn't know mullets were still that popular. Had a bunch of my "country" friends over for a July 4th party and all I played was ska. Heard "What the hell is this s**t" numerous times.
  22. I am driving down to Iowa to see Flogging Molly in about a month. Have wanted to see them for awhile but they never seem to get too close to MN.
