Doug- Nice ride. Tried to start mine up tonight (YZ250) with no luck. Don't know whats up, have never had it happen before. Where do you ride? To anyone who attempts Buck on Saturday please post conditions as I am thinking of coming up on Sunday. I don't want to waste half a tank of gas from Rochester if it sucks. Thanks! Kenton

When I lived in San Diego, we used to do this in the hills about 40 minutes east of town off I-8. With the plastic bottoms, the kneeboards screamed down the hill. Many bad accidents but still a kick in the pants.

Karl, Was wishing I had the hardboots on but the softies were more comfortable for the day. You guys looked good. The Buck team ended up taking first overall so it was a great day. Spoke with Dave a bit about doing another carving cup......we need to work on Tammy to set one up this spring. Need to get to bed, it was a long day. Kenton

D-Team comp this Sunday with about 200 kids. Most will be in the park but Tom S. and I are setting a carving cup style course for the GS on powder ridge. Just an FYI, it may be crowded. Kenton

A couple of bottles of a fine single malt for the helmet since it has more visability, and a case of a good ale for the board...........:D:D:D

Trent, Thanks for setting this up again this year. It was fun. First full day on a carve board since last year. Was with the d-team this morning in the park, they had gates across what seemes like every run. By the time practice was over, the gates were gone. Made five runs, soft snow over ice with lots of speed bumps and too many people out. I will be out with my kids in the morning but no carving. Seem to have regressed with carving this year.......maybe not enough hill time. Kenton

Pending manager's approval and hopefully no injuries, I will be there.

Blue Oyster Cult Part Deux.......... Bob, was able to get the hardboots on at about 1:30. The Blue Crew were everywhere. Couldn't get a decent ride this afternoon. The death cookies on milkrun sucked, ski jammers sucked, but for my first day in hardboots this season, I had fun. Be nice if they groomed some of the rollers down. Got enough air off one that I felt that I was flying off a table top in the park. Left at 4. Hope to be back tomorrow. Kenton

Was thinking of coming up today but while the cities got snow, we had ice down here. Could have played hockey on my road. Sounds like it was a good thing to sleep in. Yesterday was brutal on the face, why didn't I think to bring some cover. Was never able to get into hardboots, ankle was hurting a bit. Ski-Jammers were there on Sat. as well, I think that the snow made them less visible but still in the way. Fun boxes should be off milkrun by next weekend if they can get snow in the park. Will be out Sat again.

Karl, Dave & all, Let me know if you guys will be out on Sunday. I am going to be staying in the cities this weekend (bachelor party). After a torn up ankle and leg I'm pumped to get get on a race board again. Will be out sat Saturday with the d-team and hopefully some carving after. Kenton

I was given a brick of Bluebird All-Temp Soy wax today. Have never heard of soy wax before so was wondering if anyone has ever used it.

Anyone going to be out thursday? Am thinking about coming up if I can bail out of work early.

Bob (bobble) was able to secure a copy for me. The ironic thing is that I was in the Rochester Target a couple of days after that and they had about 100 of them left. Have never known them to ship them down to Cornville but apparently they did this year. Got four more copies for christmas gifts. I will be with the D-Team until noon but will there be anyone out after that? See you on the hill sometime........... Kenton

Just found out no go for Buck this weekend. Anyone else going to Troll or Wild?
