I thought the real reason why we had great weather is because of me. Damnit!
You always made my day brighter! Sunsrceen anyone?

If this guy Ron, was the same one who gave us all an earfull over on Aztec friday AM?
I believe in Karma, and feel bad for him that we ruined his day....
Not really.

What a GREAT week!
A lot of old friends, and a couple of new ones.
Thanks Fin, Michelle and Luke for all the hard work that goes into this.
A big thank you to the sponsors who showed up to share their products and ideas with us.
Long live the SES/WCS.
+1 for the saturday flu.....

Loved the Boards Bruce! The AM boards rock out here. Joel has kept us entertained, and humored us by waiting up while we all try to catch our breath. Luckily for me I had already returned the Metal AM when I got rolled by a skier right between TWO slow signs at the bottom of the hill. My personal AM is trashed, I'll be in touch soon.
Now that the MCCS is over, maybe I can get some more pics of the SES up.
In other news...
Happy Valentines Day Andrea, Wish you were here!
6-8" overnight, Snowmass today!

Brian from "OldSnowboards.com" went above and beyond...Not only did he show up with two different period outfits, but he also was denied access to the lifts while on that vintage burton...20 years of snowboarding and he still can't ride the lifts! For his efforts, he was awarded a prize of a vintage snurfer...He can provide more details.

A snowy monday, and all through the mountain, the skiers were gawking.
We had several participants for the retro contest(3) and several more who sported vintage outerwear for the occasion. Thanks to everyone who showed up!
Fin, Brian(oldsnowboards), and Al(gunderfoot) made the required run to qualify at 1pm. They were joined by Paul(K), Allee, and Kevin, to provide medical support in case of emergency.

For such a great guy, you make it on the Hate list real easy:angryfire
Game on...
So much snow last night, they shut I-70 down until early afternoon!
Took the long way around from Silverthorne to Vail/Eagle. Picked some
other East-Coasters up at the airport. Drove into Aspen, and spent 2 hours
shoveling out the driveway to the rented house. You know what?
Yup, that's right. No one was complaining!
(SES starts in 8 hours) :)

Buggs, I'm trying to send you snow from Colorado. There is too much here, and more on the way. In other news... Spent today carving at Keystone with a guy who turned 60 last fall. You know what? He didn't complain once all day long(I cried UNCLE at 2pm):)

Good luck with the healing, and the doc. I'll see ya there!
Willys right, I do get a bit silly when I drink all day. Luckly I had Shred around to help out:lol::lol::lol:. Apparantly I went from signing autographs to getting kicked out in under a minute... Thats a personal best.
Luckly at SES Michelle is there to keep me inline. Right:confused:
Felicia, best wishes (from Bachelor #1.) for a speedy recovery.. See you at lunch!
Bordy, Has anyone invited Seth to come out and ride with us in Aspen? Just don't bring up the broken table around him.. Question... If Michelle is gonna keep you inline...awe- nevermind. See you next week!
Oh one other note(I can't help myself, sorry Jack): come on guys... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? enough already with the personal attacks. I think we all can dissemminate information on this board without being reminded to check the source. Kudos to the individual who can offer up advice that may not be mainsteam.. And piss-off to anyone who feels the need to attack them.
Going to step away from the keyboard now. Almost time to fly over to Colorado for the next two weeks, anyone else want to go snowboarding?

I overslept thursday....or more accurately, didn't go to bed wednesday night until 4am.. Did you guys have a good day? Anyone looking at track days for the summer yet?

The friday night banquet went well. Food was great, the games were competitive(I didn't know you could do THAT with play-doh...) and lots of boards were given away. Saturday morning I headed to the airport in Vale to drop off two friends, then continue on to Beaver Creek....It would have been a great plan had I not left my boots in Aspen.....Anyways, while I suffered in rental ski boots, all my thoughts were focused on the week prior....
